Amazing location to switch off and relax. The place is pretty basic which is fine but it needs a bit of TLC. Would be great to have the wood at the house and not having to ask for it all the time. Worth visiting for sure for the location and views/walk around the private estate.

We had a wonderful stay with our adult children and partners and our dog . The house was in a fabulous position . Very close to the lovely town and many beautiful walks . We didn’t use the car once . Plenty of parking . The hot tub was great with beautiful views . The hosts made a real effort leaving a lovely welcome pack for us . Tracey was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early and out late . We would definitely come again. Highly recommended

What a fantastic place! Ged and Elka are incredibly thoughtful and kind hosts. We felt at home immediately. Everything is very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well set up for cooking whatever you might like. They even keep the knives sharp! Beautiful walks from the front door. The beds are comfortable and it’s very dog friendly. They provided a blanket, dog towel, and bowls. They even had a welcome pack for us and our dog. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would!

Had a lovely long weekend in Clawdd Offa Farm. Photos of the property were plentiful and accurate and communication with Ben was easy. The house itself is comfortable and well kitted out with some lovely touches. The tranquil location and the hot tub really made our college reunion trip special. And there was a fab little welcome basket on arrival. Definitely recommend!

This is our second stay at Tranquility. It was lovely to stay at a different time of the year. We had excellent weather so were able to make use of the outside dining area, although the views are not lost if you are indoors. It really is a 'home from home' equiped with lots for an enjoyable stay. (Books, games, magazines). The area is very peaceful and there are lovely walks to be had just on the doorstep.

What an incredible week away! The surroundings are so peaceful and are absolutely gorgeous. There were so many walks right from the front door that were lovely and quiet. The home has everything you need and Lucinda was there to give some great recommendations! The Bryntirion was a great place to eat! Every time you go on a drive the views will take you breath away. I’d highly recommend and would love to come back! Our dachshunds also thoroughly enjoyed their break as well!

This was a really nice and spacious property, ideal for a family. With shops nearby and a playground next to the house it was perfect for little outings.

Wonderful stay in Rivercatcher. We usually visit Bala Lake in early May but staying at Andy's place gave us the added bonus of fishing on the river on the estate. The kitchen was extremelly well stocked, everything was very clean and the kids loved the hot tub. Check in was also smooth and easy and it was nice to have access to the separate laundry room (across from the lodge) and to the games room. Would definitely recommend as a nice place to stay with friends and family.

The location and views over the racecourse are very attractive. Easy stroll into town centre. The recommended Architect Pub is close by and has lovely gardens and good pub food. The apartment is spotless, beds are comfy and we had everything we needed for a short break. Communication with Emma is excellent, she responds quickly and is very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Emma!

Simon's flat is beautiful, clean and well kept! The surrounding area is idyllic. It was perfect for our stay within easy reach to Lark Lane and lovely park walks on the doorstep. Simon greeted us on arrival and had detailed written instructions / information to make our stay run smoothly. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you.

I was delighted to stay in this Airbnb. I felt instantly at home, it was warm, cosy, v comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again. It was just down the street from the train station, and the local shops of Waterloo

Beautiful accomodation, the aesthetic in each room was different and unique! Location was stunning, a walk right into the village with a waterfall amazingly close, perfect for a getaway. The host Emma is extremely kind, responsive and reliable. Would highly recommend :)

We loved our stay in this pretty cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and sit and chat in the evenings. The front garden is a sun trap and a great place to sit and chill after a busy day. The cottage was easy to find and the key safe makes it easy to access and means you’re not tied to a specific time. Great power showers and comfy beds too. The perfect place to stay if you want to be in Betws.

We had a lovely stay at Samantha’s place which is perfectly located with amazing views and walks directly from the front door. We didn’t use our car for the entire time that we were there. We had a very warm welcome, the home was beautifully clean and Samantha has thought of everything we could possibly have needed during our stay (and then some). Communication with Samantha was great and her recommendations meant that we didn’t need to forward plan at all. The area is wonderfully quiet and private, we would definitely love to stay here again.

A wonderful way to spend a bank holiday weekend. Beti and co were just lovely hosts. The house/space is amazing with far stretching views across the lake from the fire pit hill. Everything we needed was in the house plus more. The hot tub was such a treat after climbing Yr Wyddfa at sunrise on Easter Sunday. This place has been thought about. It’s a tranquil retreat with a lovely homely feel, that is cost and comfy. The bedding is soft and warm and at night it was so dark and quiet. Really have come away feeling relaxed and refreshed. Would seriously recommend this place and the hosts to anyone!

My family and I (2 daughters, 13 and 9) spent the long May day bank holiday weekend at The Hovel. It was fabulous! The cottage is quaint and comfortable, located within beautiful gardens. There is a brilliant adventure playground in the woods and a fun trampoline in the garden. The highlight is the private lake where you can row, kayak and paddle board. Our girls loved it and we spent most of our time here. Tony and Stephanie were wonderful, friendly hosts, always on hand to help if needed. For some reason we had trouble getting the projector and sound to work to watch a movie but Toby came and solved it for us. We also enjoyed a couple of cream teas from the onsite cafe which were delicious. Home made scones! The warm homemade loaf of bread waiting for us on arrival also went down a treat. Our girls also loved playing with the dogs, especially the puppy Nugget! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to return some day.

We loved every moment of our stay! The cottage was well equipped and cosy. It was very clear that, should the weather turn: blankets, heaters, logs, electric blankets were all on hand - we felt sad that we didn’t need them! We looked forward to coming back to the cottage to play games and enjoy the log burner and views. The decor was beautiful and in keeping with the cottage. Good shower and amenities all modern. Plenty of local shops and restaurants to choose from. Surroundings were more impressive than we imagined. We want to come back and be snowed in or return to do more adventurous mountain walks - well the boys want that - while I sit by the lake and read, draw or sip gin! Hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful - but the cottage had everything we needed. A gateway to Snowdonia and all it offers - but equally happy to hunker down and enjoy the lake, forest outside the door.

A very charming and homey cottage in a quaint little hamlet. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a warm, cozy place with no TVs and no distractions. The beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks Femke!
