Great place to stay, very convenient for the town and station. Kirsty is keen to help with any query. Very comfortable, loved the bathroom and sufficient cooking facilities. Hugely relaxing stay and very much hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pictures do not do this place justice, as it is much bigger than the pictures show. The annex was very clean and spotless. Ian & Katka (Hosts) were very proactive, friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile. The swimspa and hot tub are an absolute amazing feature of the property along with the balcony and views. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

I loved my time here. The room was well appointed with everything I needed and comfortable bed. Having double doors that opened onto private balcony was a real bonus. The area was great for walking down to the beaches and along the coastal path. A varied selection of coffee shops and restaurants close by. Darren and Claire were great hosts- always friendly and replied to queries promptly. Loved the chickens in the garden!

This place is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from anywhere in town. Best of all, it has parking, which I'd say is a must. The breakfast fare was beyond expectation with great bread, yogurt, fruit and no shortage of coffee pods and teas. We'd book again in the blink of an eye if we ever visit Sidmouth again. It was great, we were sorry not to meet the hosts!

Hilary & Graham are great hosts, they made us feel home right from the moment we arrived. Property is exactly as described in a very good location with nice hill and valleys on all sides of the property. Nice backyard connected to a big garden for kids and dog to play. We would love to come back here again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Annexe, the place is spacious and well equipped. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings to explore or just relax. Tracey and Peter were very welcoming and friendly (and so are Luna and Ziggy!), shared tips to visit the area and accommodated a couple of requests/questions we had. We hope to be back soon!

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Beautiful location, perfect for walks (you can walk straight up on to Hamel Down, one of our favourite Dartmoor walks) from the doorstep. Lovely view. And for convenience - pub, great cafe etc - Widecombe is a short walk or very short drive. And friendly, welcoming hosts. It’s a country cottage, small and homely - so not for those who want a flawless LA style pad! - and all the better for that.

I booked Natalie's annex to finish off our daughter & mummy date day. We had been to the spa in the day & came back for lots of reading, snacks & girl time and it honestly was such a refreshing day. I'm so glad we booked a sleepover at Natalie's, We've never done anything like it before and I'm sure it's a firm new favourite core memory for my daughter & my self. We wouldn't of changed a thing it was all so perfect. Thanks for having us.

A really lovely clean lodge. Stephen was very quick at responding to messages. We had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. A bit of info that might be useful to others: we bought a 7 short stay pass from pool reception in order to use the pools and gym (£30 adults and £15 kids). There wasn’t a hair dryer so you might want to pack one!

Very clean. A perfect location. John is an excellent host. Be mindful as advertised the accommodation has a small fridge microwave plates cutlery ect. Not full blown cooker. Excellent takeaway and Sainsbury's very close. Conclusion easy to manage as long as you know what to expect.

We had a lovely stay at Laura's place. Our own little space had everything we needed and Laura also offered the use of the summer house and garden which we enjoyed. The view over the fields was beautiful and it was a great short walk down to North Sands and into Salcombe itself. The tea/coffee, milk and biscuits were a welcome sight on our arrival after a long journey, thank you Laura for a great stay!

Thank you so much Bonnie this place was exactly what we needed with all the little amenities you could want. Very close to a corner shop and a little walk away from the town centre. We thought it was going to be smaller from previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we were. All was wonderfully clean too with a very comfortable bed! We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for a night. Vicky was a great hostess. We had a smooth booking, good communication and the place was wonderful. We just felt like being at home. Thank you

The Pitstop is super cosy and clean, just right for a few nights stay. Laura welcomed me when I arrived as it was dark and helped me get in, she had also bought me some milk, which I really appreciated. The accommodation is perfectly located to visit surrounding towns.

Just a really lovely place to stay. Gen was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was fabulous. The accommodation itself was exactly as described, beautifully decorated, the most comfortable bed and a wonderful bathroom! Gen and Mike have really gone the extra yard with their attention to detail. We had our 2 dogs with us and there were loads of nice walks near by including down to the sea. Also some convenient shorter walks to let them stretch their legs etc before bed time! Would recommend a trip to Topsham…fab cafe to go for breakfast near to the quay with amazing crepes…The Boathouse. In the village the Red Wing (6mins walk) is a great place for a pint and The Swan (8 mins) a great place for food. If you’re staying in then Fords Farms fish (grilled) and chips takeaway was well worth the 10 mins drive. Essentially we loved our stay that fully met and indeed exceeded our expectations!

Just book here! The family were generous, friendly, helpful and made our stay run seamlessly. The accommodation was beautiful and the setting was stunning; kitchen was lovely and well equipped, as was the bathroom, with lots of lovely additions (tea, coffee, cotton wool tips!) We stayed for a wedding at Polhawn Fort and we walked back in the morning to get the car in less than 10 minutes. The Rame peninsular has beautiful beaches, plenty to occupy your time and the coastal path goes right past - we really hope to come back. Thank you Rame Barton for being the cherry on the cake of a magical weekend!

What a fantastic accommodation choice. Brilliantly presented and equipped with absolutely everything that you could need. Dee and Steve were fantastic hosts, providing facilities above and beyond the normal. As we were walking the Tamara Way this provided a perfect stop off at the end of day two.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mr et Mme Barry. Le logement, bien situé permet de découvrir le Devon. Nos hôtes très amicaux nous ont donné de bons conseils pour visiter les environs.

Tanya was fast at responding, very helpful and kind. I felt right at home and welcomed. Tanya was always happy to help when I had a question / needed assistance. The Airbnb was clean, as described. The area is lovely and peaceful and the roads are relatively quiet.

Wonderful base from which to explore this beautiful part of the world. Comfortably fitted out with everything I needed. The annexe is surrounded by garden and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and the elements. It’s a short walk down the hill into the picture pretty village, with the village shop very well stocked for basic provisions and the pub and Otterton Mill for meals out. There were great suggestions for scenic local walks to Budleigh Salterton, Bicton Gardens and along the River Otter, which I tried out. I had total privacy during my stay but it was great to know Jackie and family were next door in case of emergency as I was travelling alone.

Lovely property and location. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped with a responsive host. Wi-Fi strong and stable. Excellent accommodation all round.

We had a lovely short stay at Oakleigh View. Barbara was a great host, always responsive to messages. The accomodation was perfect for the three of us and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Amazing stay !! Don't think twice about booking - The Maritime suites are beautiful and finished to a very high / modern standard !! The location is idyllic and there is always something to see in the working harbour below - we could spend hours watching the boats coming and going - Rockfish and Miguel's are a must for food and the boat trips are easily booked from alongside the harbour - Crabbing is also very fun !! So many lovely little shops and so many nearby beaches to explore !! The Maritime has no parking but there are roads behind the hotel you can park on for free !! All in all highly recommended :) Will defo be back !
