The hideaway is nestled above a private field, in a grove of fir trees, overlooking the rolling fields of Hanham hills This hidden sanctuary provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Lie in bed listening to the dawn chorus or spend a night under the stars in our private field, the hideaway offers a truly unforgettable experience. Situated 20 minuets away from both Bristol and Bath, this hand-built hideaway is perfect for those looking for an idyllic country setting with the opportunity to explore two culturally beautiful cities. The hideaway is ideally located to provide privacy whilst offering spectacular views of the South West countryside. It has been designed efficiently to maximise space but maintains comfort and ensures a relaxing stay. Accommodating 2 guests, the Shepherd’s Hut is split into a cosy, elevated sleeping compartment with curtains for a comfortable night’s sleep and a fully equipped kitchenette/living area, beautifully furnished giving a rustic feel. Separated from the living space by a curtain, the bedroom compartment is cosy and private, boasting a king-sized bed The hut also provides a large adjustable wall-mounted TV, complete with Wi-Fi, which can be watched from the living area or the bedroom. The kitchenette is perfect for preparing simple meals, offering a sink with hot and cold water, handsome wooden worksurfaces, a microwave,oven,grill, 3 in 1 a kettle, and a fridge. After preparing your meal, you can sit on the soft sofa in front of the TV or take a seat on the foldable dining chairs accompanied with a foldable dining table. On a pleasant, sunny day you can take your meal outside and enjoy the rich birdsong that fills the air whilst eating your meal. If you are lucky, you may spot the deer that roam the fields surrounding the hut. Located a few meters away from the main space is a separate hut containing the surprisingly spacious heated bathroom with walk-in shower, W.C and washbasin. If an indoor shower does not appeal to you, the hut also provides a unique outdoor shower. Complete with hot and cold water, it is a memorable feature for you to enjoy, no matter the weather. A few steps away from the doors to the hut is a wooden staircase that leads you down into the field where you are free to roam and relax. Why not take one of the picnic blankets provided and enjoy a tranquil afternoon cup of tea on the grass or sipping the prosecco gifted to you in your Welcome Pack. This offers the best of both worlds. It is rural but well connected as there are several main roads that run through the area. It offers lovely country walks, many close to the river Avon. There are many public houses in the area (4 within a 10 min walk and an additional 5 within a 10 min drive) as well as local supermarkets. It is located halfway between Bath and Bristol; it is half an hour’s drive to each. Both are vibrant, fascinating cities with many attractions. Bath boasts the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa and the iconic Royal Crescent. Bristol is famous for the incredible Clifton Suspension Bridge and the bustling bars and cafes along the Harbourside. We are also located 20 minutes away from the outstanding National Trust Area- Dyrham Park. Supermarkets Aldi-0.5 miles Tesco Express-0.5 miles Lidl-1.2 miles Asda-1.6 miles Guest Access As a guest you will have full access to the Shepherd’s Hut and bathroom, garden area and field. A parking space will be provided for you. You will be given a key to access the Hut.

The Waggon at Westcombe

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.

Cosy railway carriage for two!

Our railway carriage is a renovated 1930's goods wagon with rustic charm; tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside with easy access to Bath. It has an exclusive driveway and parking spot at the end of our two acre garden. You will approach the carriage through a short woodland walk which is lit at night. Accommodation consists of a sleeping pod with a standard double bed and ample storage; central living area with small leather sofa, log burner and kitchen pod with a seperate shower room.

This Ndoro Carriage is so romantic! It has that fabulous feeling of being cozy yet spacious... A true delight with a cabin bedroom, where you can watch the wildlife stroll across the field. The kitchenette has all the facilities you’re likely to need, with bistro table. Theres a snuggly sofa to enjoy the view, curl up and read a book. Outside, there's a private patio where you can sip your wine and watch the sun go down. Do come and enjoy our Natural Pool, it’s an amazing experience!

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

'Little Green' Off-Grid Shepherds Hut-Bath

🌱Hi🌞 Please read this info and look at all the photos before you book xx 'Little Green' is a totally off grid shepherd's hut . Made from locally grown and sawn larchwood and largely fitted out from locally reclaimed timber All electric is solar generated and all water is filtered ground water, (tested crystal clear by wessex laboratories). Compost from the toilet is used for tree planting on site. She is ideally suited for single travellers or couples and couples with children.

This beautiful Shepherds Hut is located on the edge of the River Avon, 10 minutes from Bath. Included in your stay are Kayaks, Paddle Boards & Bikes so you can kayak to the pub or cycle in to Bath and create some great memories and fun photo opportunities. At the end of the day you can relax in the outdoor bath with the fire crackling overlooking the water (Large glass of wine in hand optional) The hut is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect stay.

GERTIE - Gertie is our beautiful home built traditional shepherds hut and is ready and waiting for guests. She sleeps 2 people in a small double sized bed. Fitted with a kitchen containing cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. En-suite rain shower, Burlington loo, heated towel rail and stacks of hot water. Cosy up next to the log burner and enjoy the wood fired hot tub which has become a popular addition.
