We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

This place checks all the boxes, which made for an epic trip with 5 of my good friends.

Rudy fue muy atento desde el inicio, y Alex siempre dispuesto a ayudar, incluso con las compras para que solo nos enfocáramos en disfrutar. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue contar con Doña Carmen y Doña Esther: nos consintieron con toda la deliciosa gastronomía nicaragüense qué les solicitamos, mantuvieron todo impecable y estuvieron siempre pendientes de nuestros gustos. Recomendamos contratarlas sin pensarlo, su calidez y atención hacen que la experiencia sea inolvidable. ¡Mil gracias Rudy, Alex, Carmen y Esther por hacer de nuestra estadía algo tan especial!

I had such a great day at the Airbnb! It has a massive kitchen and two beautiful bedrooms and the kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything that you need. You are really close to the beach and a really safe area and there are markets and restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would definitely come back here!

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! I loved that place. Stayed there for 2 weeks and was supposed to stay only for 1. Definetly a nice place to stay if you want privacy ! Daniel is awesome as well ! Loved him !

A mi familia y a mí nos encantó la casa y disfrutar de la piscina. La ubicación es cerca del pueblo pero también está lo suficientemente alejado para disfrutar en paz en familia. La casa es hermosa y cómoda ora un grupo de 10 personas. Elisha fue muy amable y estuvo pendiente en todo momento. También, Don Toño (el cuidador) te hace sentir como en casa.

Great location, the apartment is exactly what I thought it would be, clean, nice, stylish, organized. Benjamin is very responsive and friendly! Can’t complain! I come often to SJDS and definitely will be back at this place! I recommend it 1000%

We loved our weekend at Dan’s - the view is truly stunning! The house has a unique blend of indoor and outdoor spaces that maximize enjoyment of the setting (upstairs balcony, front porch, and pool to gaze out at the ocean and then a side porch + back dining area to listen to the sounds of the forest!). Villa Tortuga felt private and secluded, but with the perks of being in the Villa Maderas community. AC worked well in the bedrooms and the ceiling fans kept the downstairs cool. We were able to walk down to the beach front restaurants at Playa Maderas and Juanita’s Kitchen (though be aware that it’s a fair amount of stairs) and also made the short drive to Machete for brunch. Road can be steep and bumpy so having an SUV helped. Dan was extremely responsive, flexible, and clear in instructions. Overall a great experience to disconnect and relax - we hope to be back!

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

I absolutely loved my time at the cabin called Urraca. Nestled by the sea, it offers breathtaking views and an unparalleled sense of tranquility that makes it easy to forget about work. With spectacular sunsets, I could see nature, feel it, and I truly felt immersed in the environment. One of the most wonderful experiences was witnessing the turtles lay their eggs, and later observing the tiny hatchlings as they made their way to the sea. It was a magical experience, one that deepened my appreciation for nature. Anyone who spends a vacation there will undoubtedly experience the profound relaxation that this place offers.

Great unit to stay. If you need to check out before 8:00 AM make sure you arrange it with the staff. I did not know this and it was a bit of a hassle to check out and had to leave 45 minutes later then I wanted to leave.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Cooper from the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and Gabriel Zamora was incredibly communicative, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions I had. The space itself was exactly as described; clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. The private balconies and the kitchen ‘s stunning view was was breathtaking. The house wooden, charming vintage furniture, as well as its decorations really made the place feel special. I recommend this Airbnb to everyone.

Casa Pura Vista was so good to us! The location within Rancho Santana is both unique and convenient. We loved being entirely secluded yet having the amenities of a world class resort. Everything was easy to manage from booking airport transfers to offsite tours. Daniel and his contacts make your stay easy and comfortable. We surfed, saw sea turtle hatchlings, rode horseback, ziplined, and made the best family memories in the infinity pool. The house itself is well appointed with all the comforts of a modern home. Would highly recommend and absolutely stay again.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

An incredibly well-curated experience for enthusiasts of cloud forest nature, volcano views, and phenomenal food. The hosts and all staff were always kind, courteous, and helpful. The property is magical, extending from the road up to Finca Magdalena's rainforest reserve: you can hike up to Volcano Maderas starting right at Selvista's restaurant, Zapote. We appreciated the help with ATV rentals and loved the vegetarian option of Zapotes's set price menu to round off our last evening. Would stay there again 💯

We expected and enjoyed this rustic wood cabin. The breezes when windows and doors open were refreshing. The information booklet is a must read, it really helps orient you to the surroundings. We really enjoyed the Permaculture tour with Megan, it gave us such a better understanding of this environment. Highly recommended!

Super Unterkunft. Es hat einige Restaurants in der Nähe und auch einen Supermarkt in Lauf Reichweite. Zu Beginners Bay sind es etwa 20 Min. zu Fuss. Man kann entweder dem Strand entlang oder einer Strasse, welche auch an den Strand führt.

Nuestra estadia fue super gratificante, el local fue todo lo que esperaba, muy limpio y ordenado, super privado y tranquilo, la atencion que nos proporcionaron fue excelente, muy cordial, definitivamente los volveria a elegir
