A little forest in the heart of the Winelands cuddles this secret gem #jangroentjiecottage close to a dam fed by the fynbos covered Helderberg. a Selfcatering hideaway that sleeps two with a fireplace, braai and a woodfired hottub. Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

The tiny home

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The sound of happy froggies, birds, chickens and horses will keep you grounded and takes you right back into what Nature had intended for us. This is a cozy tiny home container is indeed a tiny home, with a tiny kitchenette, two plate gas top and tiny fridge. It's nestled on a large plot, next to a lemon tree and rose garden. Our living eco pool hosts frogs and tadpoles which invites nature lovers for a cool down on hot days.

Three-bedroom Holiday Home

Here at this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home, (PLEASE NOTE: This mirroring house that you will be enjoying is part of a bigger house, (2 exactly the same “houses” adjoined, but yet separate living, owner lives on property, most week-ends away and totally separate from your side) will sleep well and enjoy a fully equipped home where you can relax; enjoy the mountain views, and cook on the indoor braai, swim or you can visit lovely restaurants and good wines in the valley at your doorstep.

Endless Views & Privacy

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Fever Tree Cottage

Fever Tree Cottage is a secluded one bedroom garden cottage on a private property in Riebeeck Kasteel, a mere 50 meters from the town centre. The main property is on a dirt road, overlooks a farm dam and magnificent mountain views. The cottage is private, quiet and set in a lovely tranquil bird-filled garden. It is so close to town, that you can walk anywhere. Retreat to the quiet garden cottage after a day of shopping, eating and exploring.

The Red House is a charming, rustic cottage nestled in the heart of the small village of Koringberg. Surrounded by wheat farms, this retreat offers the best of countryside living - stargazing, farmland scenery, and the area’s largest swimming pool! Ideal for families or a small group of friends.
