Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Less than 15 minutes to Bolton, 10 minutes to Cochran’s, this cozy apartment is located close to many fun outdoor activities! You will love the clean space, quiet bedroom, features like a 100% Organic Cotton Duvet and two Roku TVs. There is a pull-out couch in the living room. Stowe, Waterbury, Burlington are just a short drive away. Minutes from great restaurants like: The Hatchet, Stone Corral, Papa McGee’s Pizza & Bar. Parking for 1-2 cars, Driveway may be snowy in winter.

Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. With access to a hot tub, and hiking trails right outside the door, this space is a brand new build with cozy cabin vibes.

Beautiful Mountain Views, Rustic Family Homestead

The guest suite is on the top floor of our family home. We live on the lower level. This property has been in the family since the 1940s when it was a working farm. Much has happened between then and now, we are now restoring and reclaiming the farmland and property. So yes it is mostly quiet and rural here, but also there are kids playing, tractors and tools running sometimes, and goats, hens, ducks, geese and dogs.
