Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Enjoy the Coal River Valley from the little Brick Cottage down the lane, it’s a peaceful and private place to stay and has enough room for the family or a group of friends (if you want to bring them that is 😉) Historic Richmond is only a short walk away, in just moments you could be feeding the ducks, enjoying a latte or walking over Australia’s oldest Bridge.. The Cottage has a beautiful Fireplace for those colder evenings. The Fireplace heats the entire home and makes it lovely and cosy.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Pinot Cottage- Vineyard escape

The cottage is just under 100 square meters with a mezzanine master bedroom and open plan living. It is set among the vines of Charles Reuben Estate in a quiet and secluded area with full kitchen, wood heater and spa. Charles Reuben Estate is also a vineyard, distillery and lavender farm. Our boutique farm products are readily available for purchase - wine, specialty spirits and various lavender items. Tours and visits can be arranged.
