Cozy A-Frame cabin with hot tub

This beautiful cabin is only 40 min from Reykjavík for 4 people in two queen size beds (one bedroom and a loft), one more person can sleep on a mattress if needed. Hot tub, gas grill, wifi, Netflix, bathroom with shower and fireplace. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The cottage is family-owned and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to Medalfellsvatn Lake with spectacular views over the lake. The cottage is located near Reykjavik, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik

A lakeside cabin at the foot of Medalfell mountain with direct access to the lake. A peaceful place with a beautiful lakeview where you can relax to the gentle sounds of the water. On the terrace is a barrel sauna with a beautiful view over the lake. The surrounding area is full of nature and a good starting point for little hikes. Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

Cosy cottage 35 min from Reykjavik

This cosy cabin is located in the beautiful valley of Kjós, 35 minutes outside of Reykjavik and close to Þingvellir National Park. It is located in a peaceful summer house area surrounded by trees and birdsong, with possibilities for hiking right from the front door. Within 30 minutes driving you can access Þingvellir and the start of the golden circle in one direction, or Hvalfjörður (whale fjord) in the other: a scenic area with one of the best hikes in Iceland, Glymur waterfall.

Cozy little house in the quiet and beautiful countryside of Kjos, panoramic views of mountains and the surrounding countryside. Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking opportunities. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. For summertime visits, we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.

Nýbyggt smáhýsi nálægt hinu fallega og eftirsótta Meðalfellsvatni. Staðsett í Kjós nálægt Hvalfirði eða í 20 mínútna keyrslu frá Þingvöllum og 30 mínútna keyrslu frá Reykjavík. Einnig aðeins 15 mínútna keyrsla að Hvammsvík hot spring. Hér færðu sveitasælu í íslenskri náttúrufegurð en ert samt örstutt frá miðborginni og gullna hringnum. Fullkomin staðsetning. Rafmagn, heitt og kalt vatn og hiti í gólfinu er í húsinu.
