Oggi Mærvoll è una destinazione da sogno per i pescatori che desiderano pescare in alto mare e d'altura in uno dei paesaggi costieri più spettacolari delle Lofoten. Ecco l'oceano, il pesce grosso e innumerevoli zone di pesca che presentano ricche sfide come pescatore. Nelle giornate di bel tempo si può pescare in mare. Se il tempo è peggiore, puoi pescare nel fiordo vicino alla cabina. Con tanto ramsalt e aria fresca di mare, puoi goderti l'atmosfera con la famiglia o gli amici di pesca dalla terrazza. Il vecchio sentiero sopra la montagna da Mærvoll a Unstad e fino al villaggio di pescatori Eggum è una bella escursione. Qui, le persone hanno attraversato molte centinaia di anni. Dal sentiero e dalle montagne sono magnifiche viste sul Mare di Norvegia e sul sole di mezzanotte che si possono ammirare nelle limpide serate primaverili ed estive.
