Mads.. we have no words!! We couldn’t have asked for a more tranquil, quiet, relaxing getaway! We explored a portion of the gardens until finding the video on BHG from the owners of the house and realised they were happy for us to explore more (we needed to see the wisteria even if it is autumn) we just didn’t want to disturb others. The gardens have inspired us for our future home! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and set in an incredible location to make it private. Kangaroos jumped past our windows. We could see birds in the lake. We strolled and found horses to pat and some sheep and chickens enjoying foraging. Would’ve love to have seen the peacock roaming but even a kelpie came close to the cottage to say hello from a distance. The small touches of breakfast in the fridge made all the difference! You were prompt with your replies while we stayed and we cannot thank you enough! We cannot wait to come back and make more lifetime memories in this location!

Beautiful lodge, loved the outlook and the outside area. Was nice having an ensuite for each bedroom. Bob & Patti were awesome hosts. Thanks heaps guys, you should be very proud of your beautiful lodge.

We had a fantastic time with our kids (ages 9 and 6) and 2-year-old Wolfhound mix! The cottage was easy to find and well-signed. Communication with Judy and Gina was great! The kids were delighted by the cattle and sheep that greeted us on our drive into the property. This is a real farm experience with animals right outside the door. The cabin is beautiful, cosy, and clean, with all the modern amenities you need. Just bring a few meals to cook for your stay. Gina was so friendly and informative as she showed us around! We kept our dog on a leash around the cabin as she was a little too interested in the ducks, but there are plenty of areas where she was able to run and play off leash where she wasn't disturbing the farm animals. The kids loved feeding the farm animals, including feeding the cows, ducks, and sheep by hand. They also loved kayaking (kayaks, paddles, and life jackets all available). Plenty to do and perfect for kids and dogs! We will definitely be back!

Our second stay at this beautiful little cottage was just as great as our first! We love everything this place has to offer, a perfect cool weather hideout. Clean and comfortable and in a great spot to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Scott’s Oban Cottage was a cosy, comfortable couples cottage. The bed was very comfortable, the shower hot with excellent water pressure. The kitchen basic but great for a two or three night stay. The gardens were outstanding! My husband photographs birds & was loving the opportunity to take many bird photos. I loved the variety of roses, some with perfume scent. We highly recommend staying at Oban Cottage. Absolutely delightful! Thanks Scott for the opportunity:)

The cottage was outstanding. Everything about it was perfect. The location is magnificent. Adi was also all of these! Friendly, cheerful & welcoming. She genuinely cares that you are comfortable and happy with the accommodation. I highly recommend the GIMARDI Gatehouse.

My husband and I recently stayed in Felicity’s cottage. It was such a lovely quiet place to rest. The cottage is spacious, uncluttered and very clean. The autumn leaves surrounding the cottage at present are stunning. We enjoyed the absolute peace and privacy. I highly recommend it and hope to stay again in the future. Thanks Felicity. We love the cottage at the first moment when we arrived. It was a lovely house with an amazing history of the family. We enjoyed every single little thing decorated at every corner in the cottage. Jenny and her family’s efforts to preserve and maintain their ancestor house are so well deserved. We wish that we could stay there longer. We will come back again.

Spacious, clean, great for a group and is well-located, the host was excellent all the way through. Definitely recommend.
