Rose Manor was built 1896 it operated as the New Willard hotel for over 50 years. Come relax on its huge porches & enjoy the water view.

Enjoy your time in DC in this spacious & private apartment in the Park View neighborhood. The apartment is steps away from local shops, restaurants, bars, and public transportation. The space is an English basement apartment to our rowhome where we live with our son & dog. Our toddler's youthful energy can lead to some daytime noise. Guests usually don't notice or are away during playtime. However, it might not be for everyone, especially if you are seeking absolute silence during your visit.

If you love the outdoors and seclusion, Hooper's Rock Farm is for you. 1.5 miles of James River frontage in Cumberland Co, VA, 30-acre private lake, and 650 acres of fields, woods, and hills to explore and hike. Two living areas - one with large stone fireplace. Full kitchen. Screened porch overlooking lake. Sat TV. 2 John boats with trolling motors available for bass and crappie fishing in the lake. Entrance is 1 mile from public boat landing for James River access. Near many VA vineyards.

You can take 5 minutes short walk to access the civil war park and enjoying more than 10 miles of historical beautiful federal civil war park land. Or you can just stay in the house and relax with the tranquility or the sauna. Or visit the historical Fredericksburg downtown or George Washington boyhood home.

Parkside offers the perfect getaway for families and/or friends! Conveniently located next to Central Park, 2 blocks from the beach and the main street (Mason Ave). In peak summer we have full weeks available (Sun-Sun) or partial (Sun-Thurs). We open corresponding weekends once the Sun-Thurs books. Check our calendar or social media for weekend openings! We recommend a max of 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 (possibly 4) children, depending on their ages. Our family of 5 stays comfortably!
