What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Was very pleased to find a fridge and freezer as we weren’t sure if there would be one. Lovely clean area and comfortable bedding. Looks small but is spacious and homely. Amazing outdoor bath which was perfect for the cold weather we had. Awesome communication from James. Thanks so much. Comfortable and cosy. Lovely spa pool and fire with firewood and kindling ready to go. Only complaint was the dim lighting in the living area which made reading and board games hard to see. Other than that, we loved it and would recommend to others.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as a base to do the Tongariro crossing. Good space with a full kitchen and comfy furniture. National park is not very big so it's a 2 minute walk to the bar/restaurant/shop. Great base for activities. highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Fraser and Michaella’s tiny home. Beautifully appointed with lovely linen, a good coffee setup, and an excellent deck to enjoy the amazing view. Highly recommend and loved the extra touches of some yummy granola and delicious herbal tea.

A great place to stay in National Park! It was homey, comfortable, and removed from the rest of the town enough to feel some separation, but close enough to walk anywhere. If you are looking to hike or ski in or around Tongariro, this is a great place to do it from.

Lovely, clean premises, nice and warm as well, would highly recommend staying here as it is as close to town and the mountain/ Turoa sky field. You wont be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay - the kitchen and common room were really nice. Loved seeing the animals, and the beds were super comfy.

Was a great stay at Scott and Sandra's Totara Croft Cabin. The view of the countryside is awesome. The cabin is newly built and had everything you needed. Lovely bed, great bathroom, kitchen also had everything and the deck was a great spot to keep out of the heat and soak up the view. The weather turned on for us being hot with no wind. Really nice peaceful place to chill out. Scott and Sandra were super helpful and dropped off some Anzac biscuits also! Would stay again if going through the area. Cheers Sandra

Very comfortable and clean stay right by our hiking location. Straight-forward check-in with clear instructions to was super helpful. The site has a lot more amenities than we were expecting, including a large communal kitchen, games room and dining area as well as extra bathrooms.

Great place to stay with a kid. Animal feed, bouncy castle and maze was a huge plus especially when staying with children. Great place to stay at a fraction of a price.

Quaint pod. Was prepared with supplies for staying remotely however they proactively offered meal delivery! Lovely cafe for breakfast. Super friendly staff and animals. A lovely spot to stay.
