During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

Situated on the Inland scenic route [High way 72] and only a short drive to Mount Hutt ski field and the Ashburton Lakes /Lord of the Rings country.For a longer drive Geraldine is only 30 minutes away and the Gateway to the beautiful Southern Lakes . The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Relax in the best of rural Mackenzie country with the whole family at our peaceful holiday home. We are less than 5min from Lake Opuha, and you could be at 3 ski fields within an hour!!! Approx 40 minutes from Tekapo , 1 hour from Timaru and 30 minutes from Geraldine, and approx 2 1/2 hours to Christchurch. Situated on the sunny corner of a working dairy farm you’ll enjoy mountain views and peaceful starry nights. Plenty of room for the family with a large lawn and fully fenced section.
