Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Our cozy 3 bedroom, 2 full bath Campmeeting cottage, It’s a Charmed Life, is perfectly located in the center of all that Mount Gretna has to offer. The lake, Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, Clarence Schock Park, miniature golf, roller rink, and two playgrounds are within walking distance. Walk to the Playhouse, Tabernacle, Pizzeria, Hideaway Bar and Grill, Porch and Pantry restaurant, and The Jigger Ice Cream shop attractions. Hershey is a 20 minute drive and Lancaster a 30 minute drive.

You would be staying in the back of our home on the lower level overlooking Chiques Creek w/private entrance. Free parking in front of house. The suite includes 1 bedroom and sleeps 4. One bedroom has Queen size bed, 50” LG Smart TV, Couch, & Chaise lounge. The kitchen has dishwasher a table w/6 chairs and a King Coil Queen size air mattress to accommodate 2 more guest, private room. : Pa Turnpike-7 min. Hersheypark-32-min Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is16 min. We do allow pets.

Welcome to The Loft at Woodhaven Hideaway! Peaceful, unique, and cozy, this timber frame home invites you to rest and relax. This old blacksmith shop is now a luxurious & comfortable place to stay on your honeymoon, a business trip, or a peaceful place to rejuvenate. The Loft's spa like large bathroom has become our guests favorite reason to stay here because of its large shower with twin rain head shower heads coupled with an extra long, 2 person soaking tub with fireplace.

Our Cozy, charming cottage is situated on a hilltop, with an amazing view of Amish farmland. The location is private, but still only a few minutes drive to town(Myerstown, Lebanon County PA) where you will find restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores. This is the perfect honeymoon suite or place to come to reconnect with your spouse. The backyard oasis includes a new hot tub(4/24),a fire pit, and a grill. Relax in this newly-renovated apartment bordered by cornfields. This property offers a peaceful country retreat with easy access to Hershey (30 min.), Lancaster (40 min.), Harrisburg (30 min.) and Mt. Gretna (10 min.). Please note: My family lives above the apartment. We aim to be quiet when we have guests, but you may hear sounds of small feet, small voices, etc. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate service animals due to a family allergy.

While located on a private country spot, we are a walk, bike ride, or short drive to the charming town center of LItitz, Pa. While we welcome well behaved dogs, so long as they are neutered or spayed, we cannot accommodate cats. Please don’t forget to list your dog in your reservation if you are bringing one. Infants are welcome if they are not yet walking. We can provide a pack and play.
