The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

We had such a wonderful time on the sunny coast. Chantal and Alex went above and beyond to truly host us. We had so many thoughtful discoveries within the stay that we took note of. No spoilers; go and stay and experience for yourself! We really felt so comfortable and had every possible accommodation already thought of. Any questions we did have were entertained extensively. We even forgot an item and our hosts expedited finding it and getting it mailed to us! The location is quiet and the place is really private. We had everything we needed for a casual night in; lounging space and dining amenities, as well as entertainment galore! We also were close to trails and beaches as well as a nice central location for exploring. Ten outta ten would recommend staying here and we totally will again one day if we’re lucky enough to! Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

We stayed at Taryn's place for two nights. The suite was really nice, clean and well stocked. While being attached to the house, it still felt private. The location is also great for a beautiful view of Halfmoon Bay. Taryn was responsive and informative checkin through checkout. Overall an amazing weekend!

We loved staying in the studio. It was cozy and perfect for what we wanted. The separate bathroom and kitchen was not a problem for us We had the opportunity to meet Tim. He is a friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable about the area.

This was my second stay with Wayne and Barb and I can’t wait for my 3rd. I was working In Comox and the jobsite was only 3 minutes away. Was so nice to have a cozy little spot to shower, make dinner and relax on the couch after a long day. The tiny home is immaculately clean and quiet. Wayne and Barb are super friendly and the place is exactly as advertised. It’s nice I’m able to park my work vehicle right beside where I sleep because I have lots of expensive tools in my truck. Highly recommend to anyone needing a spot to stay in Comox while on vacation or working out of town. 10 out of 5 stars. Thank you Wayne and Barb.

Great spot to check out the comox valley and area! Dan and Rachel were very responsive to our questions and offered some tips for hiking in the nearby trails. We checked out the nearby trestle and tried the pub but got there a little too late for the kitchen. The beach is right across the street and very peaceful with your morning coffee. Great patio too.

Nestled on a beautiful farm it offered everything we needed. Cosy, comfortable and lots of personal touches made the stay extra special. Had a lovely evening grilling marshmallows on the fire with a hot chocolate. Shame we only stayed for one night!!

The cabin was a wonderful spot. Quiet and private. Adam was very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately the Wifi was out and Telus couldn't get out to fix it, but that's not on Adam and a risk of staying in a remote area.

I booked Karen’s micro cabin as a birthday trip for my mom, and it was absolutely perfect. Tucked into the peaceful forest of Halfmoon Bay, this cozy little retreat is full of charm and warmth. The wood stove kept us toasty in the evenings, and we especially loved the adorable outdoor shower—with very hot running water! It was such a unique and refreshing way to start the day. We did a beautiful hike through Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park, just a short drive away, and came back to total peace and quiet in the woods. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, super clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Karen was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip, and we felt truly taken care of. This was such a special experience—one we’ll both remember for a long time. Highly recommend!

Came here for a quick night getaway to surprise one of our girls friends with a small impromptu little baby shower. Enjoyed how peaceful the whole area was & how easy it was to get to, the rain on the tin roof of the cabin definitely helped with our good night of sleep away from the kids! Hot tub, sauna and our deck were all to die for, we’re already talking about how we’ll all be going back and how we wished we had booked more nights. Brian was very friendly, greeted us right away and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved our stay in Powell River! Sylvia was an amazing host, very responsive, and the tiny house was clean and had all the amenities needed. Access to the beach was great and everything was so peaceful there. I would absolutely go back and stay with Sylvia! Highly recommend!

Jess was very responsive and supportive. Detailed and helpful instructions provided before arrival. The place is neat and clean, and the surroundings is quiet and peaceful. It was a great stay!

The cabin is really comfortable and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed for our stay and the hosts were great.

This place was hard to leave. The cozy vibe, little details, good books, plants, and amenities/accessories made us feel immediately at home. Me and my boyfriend had the best relaxing day, and taking a shower outside with the rain shower was awesome. The outhouse was really clean, didn't smell bad, and was easy to use. It was nice to be able to relax on the comfy seats outside. Verena was super friendly and she really made us feel safe and cared for. Also the bed is really comfy. The area is super walkable, we walked to an area that you can enjoy a pretty waterfront area. I want to come back here as soon as I can, seriously.

It’s a great location and a very nice place. I think it’s probably a very relaxing place to stay and probably very quiet. There was some construction going on at the main house while I was there, with a table saw cutting wood outside my front window a number of times during my stay, but most of the time it was peaceful.

Peaceful, private sanctuary in the woods. Absolute perfection inside. Coffee bar was an absolute treat, and alot of unique touches. Enjoyed listening to the frogs and crickets at night, singing me to sleep. Will definitely enjoy coming back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Lindy’s Airbnb. The place is beautiful, sparkling clean and close to lots of things to do in comox! We were even greeted by Homer(the lovely dog) which was a bonus when we arrived.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here. It feels like home. The cottage is in the most beautiful location imaginable. Having our meals on the deck overlooking the ocean continued to amaze us day after day. It is be hard to find this combination of beauty, privacy, peace and value in any rental space. This is a rare find!
