Suzy's home was perfect for our annual ohana girls' trip to Hawaii Island. We especially loved the spacious lanai from sipping coffee, listening to the birds in the morning to evening dinner made enchanting by the decorative lighting.

This place is a great home base for exploring Volcanoes National Park and the Hamakua coast. The house was exactly as pictured. We had no major issues. It did get a little warm in there at night but it was air conditioned with wall mounted and window units. It’s located right off of the main road but was quiet at night. The view is next level…literally right on Hilo Bay. Truly beautiful. Super close to downtown Hilo. You could walk if you want but you’d have to go over the Hilo Bay bridge which can be busy. Jordan was a great host…responsive and extremely helpful. Overall I would recommend this place as a quality jumping off point for exploring this half of the Big Island.

This property truly exceeded all of our expectations. The owners and the property manager were incredibly friendly and responsive, providing us with everything we needed to ensure our stay was seamless. From the luxurious amenities to the stunning surroundings, it was an experience we’ll never forget. We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect for us - we were able to easily explore Hilo and get to the Volcanoes National Park too. Very quiet and peaceful area, felt very safe here as well. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It had all the comforts of being at home—very clean, cozy, and well-stocked. The bed was super comfy, and we especially loved the huge shower and the cold water refill tank, which was perfect for filling our reusable bottles. The home itself and the large yard were absolutely gorgeous, offering a peaceful setting. The location is quite far out, so it feels very remote and serene, but it did make finding it at night a little tricky since there are no street lights. Thankfully, the host provided excellent directions, and we were able to find it without a problem. It can get a bit warm without much breeze, but the fans provided helped a lot. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

The apartment was very comfortable. The view of the ocean was beautiful (although we never made it up for the sunrise). The black sand beach across the street was great to hang out on. Very peaceful and relaxing. Nice extras like plenty of shampoo, soap, sunscreen, beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler. Driving to grocery store took a little bit of time so plan ahead with food supplies.

We felt like home. Adrianne was proactive in her communication and quick to respond. There were notes inside the house to ensure the guest uses the facilities correctly, I am ok with it. All the items shown in photos matches with what we got. It would be good, if part of the garage will be allowed to use by the guest. If I get a change, we will book it again and will recommend to friends.

We are so happy that we chose Volcano Hidden Cottage for our home while we explored Volcanoes National Park! The cottage is gorgeous, and the setting is idyllic- completely private and quiet. The only sounds we heard were from the wildlife, who lulled us to sleep each night. We enjoyed spending time out on the large deck, surrounded by lush greenery. The cottage is very comfortable, and we slept so well! We feel lucky to have been able to stay at such a wonderful place that is just minutes from the park entrance. Thank you, Brenda!

Mahalo for everything. I felt at home with Delia & Kim from the very beginning. Their loving nature and the effort they put into everything is extraordinary. I'll never forget the Big Island for several reasons, and staying with Delia and her family is definitely one of them. The location is worth its weight in gold for anyone seeking peace and quiet.
