Puttalam: soggiorni in ville vacanze

Vielen herzlichen Dank Mr. Campbell für diese aussergewöhnlich schöne Zeit die Du mit uns, in Deinem tollen zu Heim, verbracht hast. Wir haben das feine Essen, die Ruhe und die stehts sanfte Brise sehr genossen. Toll wahr auch der grosse,saubere Pool und die zutraulichen Vierbeiner die uns viel Freude bereitet haben. Wir haben jede Minute voll ausgekostet und wünschen uns sehr bald wieder an diesen schönen Ort zurückkehren zu dürfen.... The caretaker Damayanthi and her family were the highlight of my stay in Sri Lanka. Extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant - I'm looking forward to staying with them and seeing them again. As for the place there were some issues with soundproofing from the upstairs apartment, which I've been told have since been fixed. The layout is such that you have to walk through the outside area to get to the bathroom and kitchen. The second bedroom with a bunk bed is part of the same room as the kitchen only separated by a curtain - ok to stay for a night or two, but not suitable for longer stays. What was missing for me was a table or workspace inside, although there is a table in the outdoor dining/living room terrace area. Overall, if you're traveling alone or as couple it's a nice to place to stay for a few days when first arriving in Sri Lanka. I enjoyed my stay, particularly due to the generous hospitality of Damayanthi and her family.

È stato un soggiorno semplicemente fantastico. La villa è fantastica, attrezzata, vicino al mare e il personale è molto disponibile. Consigliatissimo a tutti, adatto a famiglie e amici. Siamo stati seguiti e ogni nostro desiderio si tramutava in realtà. Perfetto!

Nous avons séjourné avec nos enfants dans cette spacieuse maison, dotée de 3 chambres et de 3 salles de bains, d'un vaste séjour, d'une salle à manger et d'une cuisine équipée. La maison est très agréable, le long mais en retrait de la route principale qui mène à Kalpitiya. Le seul inconvenant est qu'elle ne soit pas proche de la ville. Un moyen de transport privé ou public est nécessaire pour s'y rendre. Notre hôte s'est montrée disponible et accueillante. Vraiment un bon séjour et une bonne alternative aux coûteux hôtels de la péninsule, même en ajoutant le prix des transports pour se rendre sur les plages.

We had a fantastic 6 night stay at Sharmini’s villa. My husband and I were travelling with our 9 month old, 3 year old and in-laws, and Sharmini’s staff could not have made us feel any more welcome. They really wanted to ensure we had a lovely stay, cooking wonderful meals(chef is included and you just pay for ingredients), helping us organise a safari trip and day trip to Anuradhapura. The villa itself is located in beautiful surroundings, it was wonderful having such wildlife on the doorstep! We went on a boat trip one evening and saw a wild elephant. Bedrooms all have A/C and splash pools on balconies. Highly recommend a stay!

We just had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 nights over the Sri Lankan New Year. The staff on site were wonderfully attentive and friendly. Breakfast was fresh juice, fruit, toast and eggs. We opted to eat dinner there too and it was also excellent- grilled fish and curry. Good value as well. The kids loved the pool while my wife enjoyed being away from the more touristy areas, but only a short tuk tuk ride from supermarket, coffee shop and gym. Would definitely recommend for a few days relaxation! The staff also went above and beyond when my wife forgot some medicine- one jumped on a bus for 2 hours to bring it to her! Fantastic all round!
