Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

The home offers everything you need for a weekend getaway or a multi-month deployment. Chattahoochee Riverwalk and the Civic Center are just two blocks away. Few minutes drive to Fort Benning. Step back in time as you walk thru the doors of this beautifully renovated apartment set within one of Eufaula's historic homes, originally built in 1865. The home has a very walkable location, being approximately two blocks from the downtown main street, where you'll find restaurants, a grocery store, drug stores, churches and various other shops, or you can take a stroll through the historic neighborhood admiring the various historic homes and the beautiful landscaping.
