The Lookout - dream, hide, explore!

Calling all explorers, dreamers and creatives! Come for a quick retreat or stay to write that book. The lookout was built by owner Rob himself over ten years. There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

With 180 degrees views of the mountain and the sea, it is a stage set for tranquility and to unwind and experience the beauty of the area. The beach and a quaint village close by, offers everything you need. There are amazing walks. The area has the most beautiful coastline in the Western cape and also boasts with the richest floral kingdom in the world. Perfect for remote working with ± 30 MBPS Wi-Fi.

The 50 sqm studio apartment with mountain and ocean view. The open space: fully equipped kitchen, sitting area, a pellet fireplace, very comfortable queen size bed with high quality cotton linen. Bathroom: a toilet, bidet, shower, bath tub and a sink. The small laundry is outside of the apartment. You have your own 40 sqm deck, we provide camping chairs and a small folding table. We have an inverter. Strictly registered guests allowed in the property. Max 2 people, no kids. No visiting guests.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

The upstairs offers spectacular ocean views with a big open plan bathroom. Downstairs is the perfect setting for dinners around the dining table leading onto the open plan kitchen. The downstairs double bedrooms share a bathroom and the front bedroom has beautiful sea views. While the downstairs deck is great for sundowners. Situated 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre.

The Annex

We are 100 meters from the beach. We have solar backup, no worries about load shedding. Large, private 46m2 apartment only 100m from beach entrance. Indoor and outdoor showers - and a large outside bath for luxuriating whilst still close to nature. Spacious lounging area. Ideally positioned to walk to shops, restaurants and Village amenities and even closer to the main swimming, fishing and diving beach. Gas hob, fridge, microwave and good range of crockery & cooking utensils.

Beach cabin getaway in Pringle Bay

This is a tiny cabin built for the love of the Koegelberg nature biosphere. It floats on a sea of fynbos and lives out onto a large deck for breakfast with the birds, reading in the hammock, soaking in the fire bath, and dinner al fresco within earshot of the breaking waves. Blackwood Log Cabin

A tranquil and private mountain retreat where water, forest and mountains will re-awaken the soul. Set high on the mountain slopes of Constantia Nek, Blackwood Log Cabin has panoramic views across the lush valley to the mountains beyond. The 2 bedroomed house sleeps 4 with 2 bathrooms. Power outages are being experienced by SA - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.

Seaside Sanctuary

Perfect home for re-connecting with friends and family, with a pool for the summer and fireplaces for the winter. The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
