All rooms with a view and the living room with ceiling-to-floor glass sliding doors that open the interior to the exterior. Bearing in mind that Casa do Ilhéu is on a slope, it is not recommended for people with motor difficulties and small children. A casa "Vinea Lava" fica a 25 km do Aeroporto do Pico, a 15 Km do porto de cruzeiros de São Roque do Pico com ligações diárias para a ilha de São Jorge, Faial e outras, a 3 km de Centro de mergulho em Santo Amaro, a 300 m de Piscina natural excelente e do mar cristalino e puro, a 1 km do centro da freguesia, de mercado, cafés, restaurante, padaria, multibanco jardim. A cerca de 3 km encontra-se o parque de merendas do Mistério da Prainha, praia da "Baia de Canas" e praia da "Baia da Areia".
