There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

Soak up this fully renovated and modernized cabin from the 1920s. We kept and reused many vintage materials and fixtures while expanding its footprint with a new bathroom. This charming cabin has also been re-sited so that it is now in proximity to the former Inn at Oak Hill B&B which affords it shared use of amenities like parking, laundry, and privacy. Many antiques decorate the interior including a beautiful brass bed not to forget the coziest kitchenette in the world!

The Gate House--Experience Vermont!

The Gate House is a historic property located at the foothills of Mt Anthony. Built in 1865, the original structure of the house served as the gate house to the Colgate Estate, one of the most beautiful properties in Southwestern Vermont. Our home is just a few short miles to downtown where you can find local restaurants and breweries. We are not far from some of the best skiing/riding in the Northeast at Mt Snow, Bromley, Stratton and Prospect Mountains.

The house is NOT on the lake itself, but it is surrounded by trees in a lovely secluded spot. The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. It has three walls of windows that display the amazing views. The house is surrounded by Mount Anthony hiking trails and a gorgeous pond. The location is a 5 minute drive to town or a lovely 20 minute walk.

This in-law apartment is on the first floor of our 2 level home and has its own separate entrances. It features an open floor plan with galley kitchen and breakfast bar. This location has a peaceful relaxing atmosphere but with easy access to shopping, site seeing, hiking, and is minutes away from historic Bennington, Vt and the Berkshires (Mass Moca Museum).
