The apartment enjoys good access to public transportation: major bus stops are 1 to 2 blocks away and Columbia Heights metro station is less than a 10 minute walk (Cleveland Park Metro is a short bus ride away). Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis but residential parking permits are required during the week (not weekends) if you plan to park more than 2 hours at a time. We are close to Monticello, James Monroe's Highland and 28 minutes away from the city center of historic Charlottesville. There are plenty of vineyards all around us and a couple of orchards, too.

As well as exclusive access to the hot tub, fire pit and pond outside! We also have various shared hiking trails through the woods surrounding the cottage for campers and cottage guests to enjoy!

A cute studio apartment in the basement of a newly renovated home. Guests have a private entrance with their own private bathroom. You also have use of a full-size washer and dryer. Other amenities include an honor bar stocked with beer and wine, an arcade style game with over 200 popular titles including Ms. Pac Man, and coffee/tea. Please note that we live upstairs, but the space is private. It is separated by a stairwell and a locking door. It is comparable to a hotel room, but nicer.

The home is at the end of a long gravel road and parking in a small cul-de-sac. Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay for the 1st, $25 after, up to 3 dogs max, extra fees charged after reservation.
