Modern log home in the Appalachian foothills

Get away from it all at this rural retreat loaded with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The log home is located on a quiet farm just a short distance from the Appalachian Highway in Southern Ohio. Take a walk on the property or relax on one of the porches. You might see deer, turkey and other wildlife. (Hunting is not allowed.) The house is just a short drive from Amish country, Serpent Mound and other family-friendly activities. Good for couples, solo adventurers and families.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located 3 bed 2 bath house with LARGE fenced in back yard. Fully stocked kitchen awaits you, but the local restaurants and activities may keep you from the kitchen. 12” memory foam mattresses in each bedroom, 75” smartTV in living room, & 55” smart TVs in all bedrooms. Washer and dryer also! Town Center Mall, Central Park, and the Paramount nearby. Sandy’s Gaming and Rush Off-road in the area. Within 15 min of WV & OH!

The cozy cottage

The cozy cottage is on the south facing slope in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. It’s .5 mile from I-64 but feels much more rural than the convenient 7 minute drive to downtown Huntington. Its location on the outskirts of the city makes for nice relaxing evenings with the convenience of still being close. The master bedroom has a tv and queen size bed. The spare bedroom has a tv and full size bed. The living room has a tv, dvd player, and queen size pull out sleeper sofa.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Pa’s Place is named in honor of the man who once lived here & has Western decor to reflect his love of TV Westerns. The perfect size for a getaway or overnight stay. It’s quiet & just far enough away from the main highway to allow you to relax & get away from it all. There is Wifi plus antenna tv, VCR, dvd player, and Roku tv. There is a full kitchen, laundry room, & walk-in tub/shower, gas grill, & fire pit. And a small dog pen.

Farm house in the country . About 6 miles from Lake Vesuvius in Pedro , Ohio Large yard. Near a small creek . Great for hunters or if you just want to get away. The house has window air conditioners. There is a front porch where you can sit and rock or swing and just take it easy . There is WI-FI. And a landline for local calls or 911 There is a camper in the back yard that is rented also.
