Port Rowan: soggiorni in cottage

Le logement était comme sur les photos. Nous étions 9 voyageurs et l’espace nous convenaient. Le spa était impeccable et propre. La grande cour arrière était idéale pour que les enfants jouent dehors.

Miranda was a great host and the cottage was perfect for our family of four. Finding the place and getting inside was easy. The location was super walkable; we went for dinner one night and visited the beach a few times. The store being so close by for firewood and other necessities was very convenient. There were lots of games and movies to keep us occupied on a rainy day. Highly recommend and we might be back for another stay!

We had a great stay - two families with two kids each - we fit great in this space for a week. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fenced in yard and the big basement. It was a quick walk to the beach and into town. We had one minor issue and Melissa took care of it right away. Spending time in the backyard was lovely. We played corn hole and had bonfires and enjoyed the hammock. There were only two downsides - 1. TV is only in the basement, which was great during the day, but in the evenings the adults couldn’t watch anything(Olympic recaps) 2. The household supplies were low (dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels), but that could’ve just been a miss between bookings. Overall great stay! We’ll definitely consider returning! Thanks Melissa!

This was an amazing place to spend couple of days. Safe neighborhood, gorgeous place and very peaceful. Kirk was very responsive and good with communication.

We had a great time at Cindy & Tracey’s cottage. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. Waking up to have coffee by the water while watching the sunrise was my favourite part. The cottage was clean and decorated nicely. It had everything we needed to cook nice meals and a big dining table to enjoy meals with friends. The large fenced yard was a hit for my dog, he also enjoyed the private beach where he could swim and zoom around. The hot tub was lovely, it felt like all your stress melted away. We left the cottage after a long weekend wishing we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Perfect place, Christian responded fast, and the place has a lot of things to do apart from the location itself. All rooms and stuffs were clean. If I have a chance to visit Port Rowan again, I’ll be willing to book this again.

My partner and I enjoyed our Winter hibernation in comfort in Angelene’s cosy, warm and inviting cottage 🥰🔥 Angelene was very responsive with any questions we had.

the place was really nice and clean and it was right beside the lake. beautiful and peaceful area for a relaxing weekend. Leigh and his wife were also very nice and responsible and they tried their best to make us feel comfortable at their place.

If I’m going back down to Long Point I will definitely stay with Jill! Cool neighbours…

I cannot express how perfect this place is! If you want relaxation, I cannot recommend it enough. The whole house felt like a white noise machine. My spouse and I found it hard to leave, it was so wonderful. The binder was so helpful (as was the PDF sent) and I can absolutely attest to The Tav being a wonderful recommendation for dining. Truly, this place is clearly a work of love. EVERYTHING has been thought of and you can see those thoughtful touches that clearly make this a treasure. The records, the books, the decorations, just... it was perfect. Truly perfect. Everywhere I looked felt like stepping into a chic magazine. 11 out of 10. Thank you so much!

We stay for a little over a week over the thanksgiving weekend. The place was amazing and so perfect for our family. The house was amazing and updated. The bathroom tub was my favourite place. Our evening walks were fantastic. Would 100% book again

Cindy was a sweetheart to deal with. I had 3 of my employee stay there for 3 days and they absolutely loved it. Cindy communicated very well, and was very quick to respond to any issues.

This cottage blew my expectations. I came here for a peaceful retreat and I got that and more. Check in, was very easy, the house was clean, the location was great and the views were mind blowing. This cottage backs on to Lake Erie and waking up every morning to the sound of waves and the beautiful view leaves you speechless. Tracey was a great host. She had clear instructions with ample information about the area and most importantly she was quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a peaceful get away. Thanks again Tracey for your lovely hospitality!

Marnie and Mike are truly super hosts. Everything is "as advertised" and the pictures are exactly what you'll see and get. The cottage looks to have been recently renovated/upgraded, so everything is new and clean. The yard and huge back deck show that Marnie and Mike love their place and take super care of the little details. One thing to note: like most homes along the coast, the house is built up on the ridge; you have to walk down a long set of stairs to get to the water. But there's nothing wrong with that! Being high up, you get a better view of everything from the house PLUS you can get in a bit of exercise!

Beth's place is exactly like the description and photos. Our family had a great stay (grandparents, infant and small dog). Long Point Park was within walking distance. Even though you're surrounded by other cottages - it is very private - you don't notice the neighbours. It gets VERY quiet at night so the campfire is so peaceful. We made our own meals so the kitchen/BBQ grill/firepit are very accommodating for our group. All cookware and utensiIs available. I really liked the screened in gazebo since we could eat outside and avoid the bugs (and rain!). Beth is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. 5/5 great place and I would definitely stay here again :)

The property is located right at Lake Erie. The Backyard opens up to a deck leading to the beautiful lake. We went in the middle of April so there was no direct access to the Lake from the deck; we didn't plan to go in the water anyway - the views are definitely worth it. We were 6 of us & were comfortable in the provided space. The listing says it's for upto 12 guests but I think it might feel a bit too cluttered with 12 adult guests - it's perfect for 8 adults & a few kids. There are a LOT of insects especially when its sunnier. They stick all across the deck & everywhere possible so be a bit cautious - not something the hosts can control. Hosts were very responsive, friendly & clear on instructions . Definitely a property worth visiting!

The place is well kept. It's designed well. Loved staying in the bunkie with the smell of the wood (pine?) in there. AC kept us cool. Everything ran well. Very accommodating of supplies/utensils provided around the home from BBQ equipment, to bathing salt and supplies. A guide book for the area served us well. Weirdly enough, it was not bad at all for mosquitos if you're having a bon fire at night - at least during our stay. The social coffee house in town is good, also went to Port Dover and experienced the town there (25 min drive) very nice charm. Would stay here again.

We loved the care Jeff and Natalie took with furniture and decorations…the place was even better than the photos. All the appliances were high end and the towels and linens were excellent. Books and games were provided and there were so many little touches to make us feel special. We hope to return next year. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place near the beach at Long Point.

Year after year we are so impressed with Jill’s beach hut and vow to come back again and again until she’ll no longer have us. Each time we stay we are so impressed with the little and big upgrades she makes. This year, we loved the extra space, the added seating and the ductless ac / heater. This time around we booked a tee time at the local golf course which was 5 minutes from the hut. We were so impressed with the golf course, that we’ll be back. We always have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the adorable town of port Stanley, walking everywhere because it’s so close to everything. We always end up either at the legion, gts, or at pierside. Everyone is always so friendly and fun. We’ve become regulars this time of year, meeting up with people or going to the same events. The bed is incredibly comfy, the added features of local snacks to the coffee and cream for us in the morning is awesome. We spent a lot of time on the upper deck and back deck, chatting away in the sun.

Our stay was fantastic! The space was clean and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the host was responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s an great experience for us. The place is right in front of the waterside. I highly recommend this place.
