Port Franks: soggiorni in cottage

This was a great value! Such a beautiful place to stay the beach was unreal. We caught some great weather for end of September. The hot tub was a treat as well. Jennifer was very accommodating even though we didn’t have any communication during our stay. Everything was as advertised and we will be back. Thanks Jennifer!

This home was so perfect for our family! The home was great for the grandkids (so much for them to do!), kitchen was fully equipped (along with the whole house!) and the walk to the beach was short (which allowed us to catch some sunsets!). We enjoyed our time so much as we had no worries and could just focus on enjoying our family time. We just might be back!

Lovely stay, we stayed for a weekend and were thoroughly happy with our stay! The place was very clean, and the amenities such as the hot tub were very nice and relaxing. Definitely worth it, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway. The beds were very comfy as well, and there were lots of towels for our group of 10. 10/10!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We have been enjoying every single minutes of staying at your beautiful cottage,your hospitality is outstanding—thoughtful, welcoming, and always responsive. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from brand-new essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste to a well-stocked kitchen. The view is breathtaking, and the hot tub making our stay even more relaxing. Every detail is carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I truly appreciate the effort put into making guests feel at home. I would love to come back again and again—highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway!

Laura’s place is beautiful. Big rooms and enough space for 12 people. The deck was huge and nice view but due to cold weather we were not able to use it. Hopefully this summer we plan to come back. We really enjoyed our stay and feels like home.

We had a wonderful stay at Callandra's place. The photo's do not do justice to how pretty this home is and in such a lovely area. Tons of space for all of us, we were 4 couples. Lots of extras like games, movies, cozy blankets. The home is fully stocked with everything you need. Our hosts were great to deal with and even sent us a special treat along with some extra supplies, so thoughtful! We would absolutely recommend this amazing getaway to anyone and definitely want to return. Thank you very much to our hosts Callandra and Jeff.

Can is a wonderful and responsive host. Great communication. This place is comfortable and has that cottage vibe we were looking for. Great restaurants nearby and the water is a short walk down the road. Highly recommended.

If you are reading this review to try and decide between this place and others then just stop and book it now!!! I stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and by far the best one yet, there’s just to many positive things to say about the place. You will love it no matter what, family, couple, single all are welcome and comfortable here for sure!!! Also finally a place that has EVERYthing you couple possibly need… Highest recommendation I could give!!!!

First time to Port Stanley and was so happy I found this gem. Home was perfect and in the best location. House was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Firstly, the cottage was clean, the beds were very comfortable as were the pillows, linens and comforters were great, nice and plentiful towels including beach towels. The bedrooms were a nice size. You do not feel cramped at all in the cottage. There is large backyard with a fire pit which comes with wood to burn. This cottage felt like home in minutes. You walk in, do a wander, and breathe; Yes!! The hosts are on top of everything. Have an issue, send a message. Their response time is very quick. Great hosts. Thanks Jillian an JP. A bonus is the pass to the Pinery which has great sand beaches and wonderful walking trails. Want to eat out try McPhersons. Good home cooking. Grogs is another good place to try. I almost forgot to mention the great neighbours. Thank you..... We hope to return next year. We highly recommend this cottage.

The cottage was perfectly quaint and so cozy! Exactly what we were looking for - a place to relax, read, and walk along the beach. We stayed 3 nights in early November, so we cozied up inside mostly, but I could see spending more time down on the beach during summer. The uninterrupted view of the horizon is incredible! (FYI, there are ~100 stairs down to the beach, but it's worth it) Bayfield and Goderich are very close, both delightful towns to spend an afternoon walking around in, visiting the local shops. I would not hesitate to come back again, we felt we very rejuvenated after our long weekend here.

It was a last minute decision to book a weekend away, and the hosts made everything super easy! They responded quickly to questions and the place offered all the comforts of home (with no chores to do!). A beautiful, clean place for a relaxing weekend. I will definitely book here again! Thank you!

I have been coming to this cottage fairly regularly for a few years because it is an oasis of serenity. The cottage is indeed cozy and well appointed with everything you could need. And the owners of this lovely place are wonderful....welcoming and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at Sinan’s place! The location was excellent, the space was ample, and it offered great value for money. Communication was seamless, and we truly appreciated being able to bring our dog along. We’d happily stay here again!

We absolutely adored Dalton’s place. It’s so cute and nicely decorated. They thought of everything. The stairs to the beach are endless but a great workout:). Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it

We have been visiting the Pinery and the Grand Bend area for years so this was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our favorite beach and woodlands from a quiet neighborhood with a clean comfortable house to relax in. A weekend of fossil hunting at the beach and walking the woods was topped off by being able to walk to the Sunday Flea Market. Great spot! Thanks

Sara was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and was very understanding of our needs. She had the fire going for us inside which was so nice! I very much appreciated her flexibility with check in and out! The home was beautiful and clean - it had everything we needed and felt like a home which is so nice! Loved the huge dining table for us girls to gather! The beds were a 8.5/10 which is a win. There was not complete privacy and we did feel out in the open at the fire pit - I’m sure summer is even busier! The sunset was stunning - the stairs to the beach were intense - great exercise but be prepared. Neighbour’s were friendly. I’d say the only negative (which isn’t really negative), was the living room furniture., it was somewhat uncomfortable because it has been used. A plus was being so close to Grand Bend for all your needs! Thanks Sara - we hope to return!

The place looked liked a dreamy place. we had a great relaxed time. We loved the beautiful peacefull area. We thank Jennifer for being responsive and so kind to left us gift and even handmade cookies for our dogs which was a thoughtful gusture. We hope to come back again soon.

We had such a wonderful time at the Blue Coral! We felt right at home, exceptionally clean in all rooms and bathrooms, lots of space and not to mention such an amazing location. I would for sure book Paul’s place again in the future! Thank you so much for accommodating our group!

Such a great place to stay when you are in the area. This is the second time we have stayed here. Everything is as described and very clean. The property is equipped with everything you will need. The small extras like coffee were truly appreciated, especially when getting in late. By far my favorite place to stay in Port Franks.

The weekend was phenomenal, the amenities were fantastic and well-managed. The only downsides were that it was fairly apparent that the local bylaws greatly impacted the place with some unreasonable asks. For example, they required every tenant's name, age, phone, email and home address. Per the Short-Term Rental bylaw, only the number of tenants and adults for the Short-Term Rental are required. Outside of these couple of inconveniences, we had a great time and would definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Cottage. Place was exactly as described - great space inside kitted out with everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the hot tub and sauna were both excellent. Hosts were great - easy to communicate with any helpful with local recommendations. It’s a really private and peaceful getaway - we will be back for sure.

Another amazing stay at Whispering Oaks! Cecilia welcomed us with a thoughtful birthday surprise that made the stay feel special. We look forward to returning in August!

Kind and understanding host. Was able to accommodate a later check in time and I didn’t feel rushed. Beautiful property! Hope to be allowed to visit again
