We loved the house and the views! The area is very peaceful, and it feels safe in this area. It's also accessible by bus, and it's easy to get around on foot or by bike. The walk along the creek just a street behind the house, along with the lovely terrace, is a great way to connect with nature right from home. As for the house, it has such a cozy vibe that we really enjoyed. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rooms are spacious and relaxing. We decided to extend our stay since we were having such a great experience! Thanks, Tristan!

Perfect location, close to so many excellent cafes, eateries and amenities. Backyard and pool a perfect oasis after a day out and about. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, couldn’t ask for more in the accommodation, we loved it, would happily return and felt so at home we could live there!

Dearnna,s house was even more beautiful than described. The house was easy to find, immaculately clean, all the amenities you could ever need for a very comfortable stay, beautiful garden, lovely clean furniture, linen and cockery. We really enjoyed our stay at Dearnna,s house, our emails and phone calls always answered immediately, communication was outstanding. Dearnna was always happy to help us out, we really felt right at home in her beautiful house. I have stayed in many Airbnb but this stay was the ultimate best by far and highly recommended. We are visiting from US and had a great time at this location. The property is very clean, quiet neighborhood. Initially we noticed couple of things noticed like broken shower handle and pool cleaning etc. and informed Antje. They took care of them immediately. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and basic stuff. All the air conditioning worked properly! Overall we had a nice time at Cairns!

We had a wonderful time at this home it was perfect for our family. 2 couples and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed our meals out on the patio by the pool. The kids loved swimming in the pool.

Florien was extremely welcoming, right down to having ice blocks for my three children in the freezer and water in a bowl for my dog. He was very responsive when I had to text as I couldn’t work out the bbq. He maintained the property in a very unintrusuve and respectful way. Pool was immaculate and very much enjoyed by my children. Quiet and safe location. Loved my 5 week stay there. Highly recommend.

The private, very comfortable and spacious property was ideal for our family. Close to town (a good healthy short walk) and peaceful surrounding made for a perfect break. La casa es genial, Esta en una zona muy tranquila y con privacidad pero a la vez estas a 5 min de Port Douglas. La casa es muy acogedora y practica. Tiene varios espacios para disfrutar en diferentes momentos del dia. Nos ha encantado.

A lovely big house! It was perfect for our family of 11 to get together for a holiday. the pool and yard were great for the kids. It had bedrooms and bathrooms at separate ends of the house making it like separate wings for the two families. Rex was very responsive and accommodating to a couple of extra requests. A very enjoyable holiday in a perfect location.

We had an amazing time, absolutely beautiful villa!! Only a short walk from the esplanade and beach, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and plenty of space for everyone. We loved the pool and eating outside on the deck, had pool toys, kids games and each separate villa has its own unsuite. would rate higher than 5 stars if it was possible, host was always responsive and directions were clear and easy to understand

We had a beautiful two days at Mary’s place. It’s an absolutely stunning location, so peaceful and serene. Mary has thought of everything to make sure your stay is relaxing and wonderful. The outdoor kitchen is excellent, and we loved the outdoor living - we spent almost all our time out there on the deck snuggled on the couch or sitting on the grass! We fed the horses and chickens, enjoyed the view, and the lovely food provided by Mary when we arrived, and the peace and quiet. Mary and Lili are wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly, but also mindful of guest privacy. We were lucky enough to have cuddles with Diesel and Molly the dogs! There’s excellent walking trails and parks around the area, and the evenings are stunning looking at the mountains and listening to the animals. The beds are super comfy and the shower is excellent. It was just what we needed to unwind and relax before heading home. We will definitely be back to Mary’s place next time we come to Cairns!

One word - amazing! I’ve been using Airbnb for nearly 10 years and this is definitely one of my favourite places. So comfy and quiet and relaxing. The location and communication is top notch! It’s very well stocked with amenities, sooo clean and tidy and the ocean decor and colour scheme and natural lighting is exquisite. Tania & Sandra really go above and beyond for their guests and it shows throughout the entire home and stay. Highly recommend (:

A modern, clean and comfy home in a quiet neighbourhood in Kuranda. Was perfect for a week over Christmas as we could easily shop for supplies in the village and visit family on the tablelands. After a day out and about we appreciated relaxing on the back deck in the garden, the airconditioned living area and fans in the bedrooms. The comfy queen beds deserve a special mention, as does Eva’s fast response to queries.

Our family loved our stay at Possum Cottage! Filled with natural light, high ceilings, and plenty of air flow, we felt very comfortable staying here. We had small children, grandparents, and our dog! And we all had plenty of space to be together or find our own space if needed. Thank you, Wendy & Onn, excellent hosts!
