Wheelchair accessible throughout. Lounge, kitchen and dining area are open plan and fully equipped with a dishwasher, built-in oven and microwave, induction hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Luxury super king size bed (can also be made into twin single beds) and a large ensuite wet room.

Approximately 1 mile from PORT ASKAIG ferry terminal where you can also get the ferry to Jura, five minute crossing. Free parking available outside of house, back and front garden with outside seating available, swing park and playing field’s on doorstep. There are 3 Distillery’s nearby Bunnahabhain, Coal Ilà and Ardnahoe with a further six distillery’s throughout the Island.

Fabulous round house on the west coast of Scotland

The DRUM at Dunmore is a stunning elliptical house with a sloping roof and high ceilings, clad in charred larch with orange window frames and painted wooden floors. Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a crack team of smashing local chaps, the Drum is a perfect bolt hole for two. It has a wood burning stove and a big squashy velvet sofa, floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and is nestled in woodland on a small estate (complete with castle) and just moments from the sea.

Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Persabus Farm Cottage, Port Askaig

Persabus is the gateway to the north Islay distilleries. Persabus Cottage is situated within walking distance of Ardnahoe, Caol ila and Bunnahabhain Distilleries, on a working hill farm. It is close to the bus stop for accessing the South Islay distilleries. With beautiful views of the Sound of Islay and the Paps of Jura. Persabus Cottage was the original farmhouse and has a large farmhouse kitchen, private garden, an open fire as well as oil CH.

Starchmill Holiday Pod (Bruichladdich)

The Bruichladdich Pod sleeps up to 2 people, consisting of one bedroom with double bed, a toilet/shower room and a living area with double sofa bed. It also has a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and table with 4 chairs. The pod is accessed through large patio doors which are perfect for enjoying the panoramic view. There is a large decking area in front with a picnic bench to enjoy dining al fresco.
