The comfort of the cabin was perfect for our rainy weekend away as we ended up spending most of our stay indoors. The little fireplace kept the space cozy and warm for when we came in from the hot tub. Plenty of room to set up a large dog bed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to allow her to roam without any worry of her wandering off. We had a lovely time at Ash & Brett's.

Our stay at Ingrid's was wonderful! We cooked all of our meals, and it helped that the place was well stocked with a huge fridge, and tons of counter space. It was the perfect driving distance between Gibsons and Sechelt, and we got lucky with the weather! It was quiet at night, and we felt very safe. The master bathroom was stunning, the soaking tub was great, the beds were comfortable and soft, the fire pit on the deck was cozy, the place was spotless and their sound system was great. Ingrid was a very helpful and responsive host, and the place was even more stunning than I could have imagined. We had the perfect weekend away! We can't wait to visit again soon.

Beautiful space and area overlooking the ocean, awesome having our own beach, and use of kayaks etc. Sleeps 6 comfortably but the hidabed in living room for 2 more guests very uncomfortable, needs a foamy on top of the springs! Loved the sunroom and games box, lots of different sitting areas❣️

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 3 and under and a dog. We had a great stay! The place is as described and more. Very well stocked with all the essentials for kitchen and otherwise. Lots of space. Clean. Heating and cooling. Thoughtfully decorated. Lots of yard space. Beautiful view of the local mountains. Scott gave us a tour of their farm and our little guy fed the ducks - fun! Right next to Little Qualicum Cheeseworks - fresh dairy awaits. Location is good - farm setting but close to town. Overall great value and would stay again!

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Angel House was a grand choice for holiday. A hot spot for a mini reunion with family I hadn’t seen in donkey years. Diana and Paul greeted us warmly and were available throughout our stay. At €750 per night and a €21 cash fee per guest, it accommodated up to 12 guests in 7 beds. Listed as “Entire Home” was attached to Diana’s living quarters but it did not detract the experience. Charming décor, window coverings invited early morning light and hotel-quality pillows needed after a long drive. The provided salt and pepper were a nice touch. Nomads will know to bring their own essentials but I prefer not to ask hosts for things during my stay. Despite a few minor issues—no ice on arrival, low ceiling in upstairs bathroom—house provided ample space otherwise with reliable Wi-Fi and a dishwasher! Location was close to Maffeo Sutton & Colliery Dam Park, a short drive to Duke Point Ferry Terminal and bistros around for lunch. Casa Angel de Nanaimo is a value for a memorable reunion!

This is a great spot for inter-generational families because the layout of living areas and bedrooms allows everyone to to be separate or together as they choose. We loved the quirkiness combined with the lovely modern bathrooms. And the property surrounding the house is so much fun to explore. It is a great family house and all the kids loved the pool and water slide. We have already decided to come back next year.

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

We had a great stay at Bill’s! It’s a basement suite but because it’s a walk out it’s super sunny and bright. We pretty much never heard any noise from upstairs. The internet speed is fantastic if, like us, you work remotely (1gbps up and down at the time of this review). We had our dog with us and Indy had a great time playing in the yarn with Bill’s dog Oli. Bill is such a nice guy and we had really nice chats whenever we’d run into one another. The house and suite are also brand new and in a beautiful part of Nanaimo — we would highly recommend staying here!

This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

Such a beautiful place to stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and very responsive to any questions we had. The neighbourhood is private and quiet, and the suite was even more beautiful than the pictures. The view from the living room is so beautiful, the kitchen is spacious and has any dishes or utensils you could ever think of. The beds were clean and comfortable, ample towels for showers, hot tub, and pool days! A fantastic place to stay, especially if you’re planning on a larger group vacation. We would definitely come back here again in the future, can’t say enough great things.

We loved the cottage. Great location, comfy beds, everything we needed. The only thing we would say is that the photos don’t do it justice. It’s much nicer in real life (which is always a bonus!) Judy the host made everything very easy.

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

Stephen’s place was a fantastic stay! It was clean, cozy, and easy to find. The property had everything you could need for a comfortable visit. It’s also pet-friendly, which was perfect—my dog was happy and loved having a yard to play in. Great value and highly recommended!

had a lovely stay at the cottage!! everything as described and better. the loft is so cozy and the outdoor kitchen was wonderful. loved the beach access points about a 5 minute walk from the cottage. Visited in late April and the flowers were beautiful in the neighborhood and on the property! thank you Jane!

Jennifer's house was perfect for us! The house is really cozy, beautiful outdoor spaces, quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains from the back deck. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was replete with good cookware! Jennifer was was very responsive and communicated really well. I'd highly recommend her home to anybody considering a visit to this lovely part of the island

Jeffrey was a great host, very responsive and nice. The place is great for three families. Lots of privacy when needed, lots of outdoor space to play and run (especially with dogs). It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was about 15 min drive to Qualicum downtown. We enjoyed the farmers market and buying fresh seafood in Parksville. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic stay for a family with kids and a dog. The backyard is beautiful and everyone loved spending time in it. Close to the centre of town but in a nice quiet area. Ralna is very helpful and thoughtful and overall we had a great stay!

Excellent place for a getaway. The bay window is lovely to sit and watch the deer and birds and the bathtub was perfect! Super easy check in and convenient location to explore the surrounding area.

Cheryl was a super host! She greeted us and helped me with the key pad. The suite was amazing. Super roomy, everything one could need. From games to lots of towels. The kitchen was fully appointed with freshly baked bread and preserves, Even milk in the fridge! This is an amazing property, a true credit to Cheryl. Thank you!!
