A beautiful home with plenty of character; charming, elegant and aesthetically perfect. The layout suited our larger group. We came up for the weekend to enjoy the beauty of the Hunter Valley and Surrounds and the house was perfect in terms of location. The hosts were amazing. Louise and Rob were always proactive, transparent and hospitable. Very demure, very mindful. Will be back in a heart beat when and if life permits.

This place truly deserves 5 stars. Such a beautiful place and so well maintained. Feels just like home. Kim was very helpful and really appreciate the welcome cookies and Easter chocolates. It was a hit with the kids. The host was very proactive and available for anything we need. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

our stay was a very relaxing time with the beautiful lake Macquarie in the backyard. Peter was a very responsive host. the house had space for 12 people beds for 12 people that is and our party was six so we had a lot of space. There was a great dining table for meals along with a couple of relaxing living spaces. anytime we come back as a family will we would be happy to stay here again.

This shed house is a fantastic property in an even better location. It’s a great space for adults and kids alike, with so much to do. The sunrise and sunset each day are stunning on the river. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Truly would have loved to move right in! I’ll definitely be back to visit in the future.

we stayed at Villa Nessa for a bucks weekend with 14 guys, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was immaculate, spacious, and felt more like a home than a rental. There were plenty of comfortable beds, large living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen that made group meals easy. The spa was a standout feature—hot, clean, and ideal for relaxing after a long day. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet still close to everything we needed. Although we didn’t meet Vanessa in person, she was an exceptional host. Her communication was prompt, polite, and super helpful from start to finish. She made everything smooth and stress-free, even with a large group. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into making the home welcoming and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our mate’s upcoming wedding. Highly recommended to any group looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-managed stay. Would definitely return to Villa Nessa

Romantic escape: Summer Hill tiny house

We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend. I wanted a peaceful night away from my small kids and this fit the bill perfectly. I filled the outside bath with hot water and drank champs and ate cheese overlooking that magnificent view. Stunning! The tiny home feels brand new and is very comfortable, I’d stay again for sure. Perfect for a couple wanting some peaceful time together. Also loved visiting the Trading Post in the afternoon for lunch, beer and stock up on tasty nibbles. Only rated value slightly lower as the night we stayed the electricity went off locally for most of the night. Not Shane’s fault of course! But the generator noise did impact the serenity.

Julie’s place was perfect for what we needed. The back deck was so lovely during the late afternoon watching the sun go down, and the lounge room was very spacious. I would highly recommend staying here.

Angela, you have a beautiful house! Kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate and well maintained. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of cooking utensils, condiments, herbs and spices. One small downside was the squeaky doors which can be easily fixed with WD40. Waking up early every morning without waking the family was a struggle. I believe those white circles things on the walls are night lights? None of them were working. Very hard to see at night. Overall a great place and would definitely recommend if anyone is looking for a nice and relaxing beach holiday. Beach is 5mins drive and a brand new playground was just recent built.

We had a great stay! The location was excellent — close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The property looked exactly like the photos, which we really appreciated. Very functional, albeit small 2-bedroom apartment. The pool was great - we were the only ones that seemed to swim while we were there! The little balcony is a nice place to have a dinner or wine. It did hold the heat quite a bit - assume it would be quite warm in summer. The suburb is very hilly like the name suggests - so be mindful of that from a mobility perspective. Great area - lots of cafes around 10 mins walk away.

A spacious and comfortable self-contained flat, overlooking the forest and the ocean. We had an excellent time over four weeks. Communication with a most hospitable owner was perfect. We highly recommend, and hope to be back some day!
