But if you’ve ever watched HGTV, you’ll see that people across the country are creating short term rentals out of all kinds of crazy things from shipping containers and barns to old warehouses and yurts. In Cross Lanes, WV, we took our cues from those folks on TV and created a short term rental out of the storage unit! Conveniently located just off I 64 and only 1 mile to the Mardi Gras casino.

Large 3 bedroom apartment with lots of living space. 3 separate bedrooms provide privacy for guests. Master bedroom features ADJUSTABLE King sized bed with both massaging capabilities and phone charging ports. Kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, silverware, and dishes. The apartment has a large back deck that leads to off street parking with enough room for 3 cars. 10 minutes from Uptown Athens and Ohio University. Hocking Hills is a short 25 min. scenic drive.

Country Cottage quiet cozy place near Gallipolis

Very good home feeling. 936 Sq feet of living space. Keypad for entry 24 hours. Full kitchen, laundry room, very quiet place. Everything you need. You don't have to pack anything iron provided, shampoo soap hair dryer etc. Security cameras on site. Near Merry Family Winery, Bob Evans Farm, Hardee's Love truck stop, Rio Grande college. Holzer Hospital. We have several other restaurants non chain, museums in our area. A list of things to do will be in the cottage or feel free to ask Tim or Bev.

Quirky and Cute Upstairs Apartment

This apartment is super cute, and conveniently located in St. Albans, WV. It's on the city bus route and within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. This is an almost 100 year old duplex, so the floor plan of this unit is a little quirky, in that you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom and bathroom (see photos). It also has an accordion style door that separates the master bedroom from the living room. It’s a super comfy place, but privacy is limited.

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.
