It is just up the hill from Crystal Lake, and the Betsie Valley Trail, and is close to beaches, rivers, Crystal Mt., shopping, dining, breweries, hospitals, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore! Beulah and Empire are 15 minutes from the cottage, while Frankfort and Glen Arbor are about 20 minutes away. There are several great restaurants, and breweries nearby.
