This place was what me and my friends were looking for. Peaceful and private. We loved the surrounding and the views. Looks just like the pictures. Host was available if we had any question.

Such a great week getaway. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side when we stayed but it is such a beautiful stay. Hoping to come back sometime towards the end of summer or fall to see the leaves changing colors!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

Had an amazing long weekend. Great inland lake. The house was perfect for our family. The host was super responsive and had a ton of great recommendations.

This place was great!! Long Lake is beautiful, clean, and warm. We had a ton of fun swimming and using the kayaks and paddleboards provided. Life jackets available to use as well. It's a super close drive to Traverse City, and not terribly far from sleeping Bear Dunes, making it a really great location. The full sizeds were comfortable enough, but a little tight. The bedrooms were roomy. There is only one air conditioning unit in the main living space, not in the bedrooms. But we were provided with multiple fans which helped. The road is busy, which is ok, but made opening the window at night for cool air isn't really an option with car noise. The kitchen was fantastic. All the needed utensils and cookware and huge bonus of providing Tupperware to store leftovers which was a great added touch. Hosts were also very responsive and flexible with check in, which was very appreciated. Overall, had a fantastic time exploring the area and so nice having a homey and beautiful place to stay!

The host was so friendly, the views were beyond stunning. And I found a petoskey!! I wish I had never left!

It was absolutely beautiful. The trees had just changed colors and it was such a nice view! It was quiet and private. During business hours, you can hear the wine tasting room but that didn’t bother me at all. We stopped in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. So happy to have visited. Highly recommend!

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our getaway on Stevens Lake. The setting of this house is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We loved listening to the loon on the lake and our son had a great time down by the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night on a foggy night, but Jane's directions were perfectly clear so we had no trouble locating this out of the way spot. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay with a perfect location. Very large and roomy with the three king bedrooms. We loved all the original decor from the fire station that it once was. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We were in town for a family wedding and this was a perfect location. Could walk to town and other stores were close by. Place was better than expected.

Overall, our stay was fantastic! Abby's place was wonderful! it was tucked away in the woods/forest with the most beautiful landscape view! We thought our little place was a perfect home away from home. It was tucked away in the forest, but Abby's instructions made it easy to find! Also, an extra star for the high end bidet. 🙃

Great place to stay in a great location! Bob was incredibly responsive and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The cottage was cute and spotless. The beds were comfortable, including nice sheets and it had everything that we needed. We stayed during the winter so didn’t get to utilize the lake but it’s close to the house and looks like it would be awesome during the summer. It’s only a 17 min drive to Crystal Mtn.

Our stay at this cottage was perfect! From the moment we walked in, we felt instantly at home in the cozy, beautifully appointed space. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including a lovely bottle of wine from a local vineyard, which was such a special and welcoming touch. Our boys had an absolute blast! They spent their days swimming in the lake, building sandcastles, and trying out water sports. In the evenings, we enjoyed gathering around the fire—both outside under the stars and inside in the warmth of the cottage. The peaceful surroundings made this the ideal retreat for our family. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the entire home was both beautiful and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Our host Cassie was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. This cottage is a true gem!

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

We loved Charlys’s place! It was a charming home and very accommodating for pets. We would definitely stay here again!

Great, quite location. Well equipped and clean. Our dog loved the big yard to run while we relaxed on the nice deck. It's very dark at night, take a big basket for all the stars. Loved it, thanks Michelle

Sweet space with walkability to a stunning view of Lake Leelanau. Easily able to drive to local “hot spots” like Suttons Bay, Leland, Northport, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. All the peninsula's wineries and cideries are within a short drive and so are some of the most incredible hiking paths. The space is quaint with everything you might need for a visit. My favorite was the fireplace and the stream just out the front door…the sound of it was delightful. The backyard space is vast and a wonderful place for a bonfire! You’ll enjoy your time here.

This place is gorgeous. It’s nestled under the tree canopy and offers breathtaking surroundings and views of the stars. There were five women in our party; each of us were very happy with the accommodations!

Rick’s place was great! He was responsive and accommodating to our needs! Happy to visit again!!
