Platte Lake: soggiorni in cottage

We had a great time at Salma’s cabin! Everything was accurately depicted in the photos and between the included games and the hot tub we were able to spend an entire day just at the cabin. The location is excellent, you’re able to feel secluded but still close enough to Traverse City that you can run to town to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. It’s a perfect location for checking out the city or exploring the wineries. Check in was easy and Salma was available should we have needed anything!

A beautiful place right on the Bay. So peaceful and easy. With the screened in porch, back porch, and hot tub, there are lots of ways to enjoy the lake no matter the weather and temperature. The house was very comfortable and we loved having multiple fireplaces - very cozy for our late April visit.

Linda's place was everything we could have wanted and more. It was the perfect cozy cabin, so close to our planned activities, nice and quiet/peaceful, and well stocked with anything we could need. Linda was very understanding and a great host. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!

We (and our dogs) had an amazing time at Nathan's beautiful home. The setting is ideal—the house is right on the water, the amenities are fantastic, and the neighborhood is beautiful and serene. The house has everything you would want. There is a sweet deck and outdoor area along with a dock and your own private beach—the next house in either direction is almost a half-a-mile away. The perimeter around the house is essentially fully-fenced, which allowed us to swim, paddle board, and hang outside with the pups without worries. Nathan is a great host: He checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. He provided clear instructions about the house and its features, as well as great local recommendations. We really can't say enough great things about our stay. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing trip we've had and look forward to coming back soon!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We love the location and used this as a home base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leland, Traverse City and Boyne Mountain. The house was exactly what we needed! Everything was wonderful and they had everything we could need. Any time we had a question she responded quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and believe we will be back!

We loved our stay at the Blue Kettle Cottage! Having so many windows made the space feel bright, airy, and wonderfully connected to the outdoors. A thoughtfully decorated home that had a sense of clean minimalism while offering us everything that we needed. From children's snowshoes and ski poles to a basket of local snacks, Deirdre thought of it all. She also gave us an amazing list of things to do in the area with small children (our favorite was making friends with Slinky the ferret at COGNiTiON). Would definitely stay here again!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

Jake's place was clean and comfortable. it is a good spot to stay if you're exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the surrounding attractions.

This is a gem!! Loved our stay. Perfect location to wineries, restaurants, shopping, and beach! Great farm and open areas to walk our dogs. Definitely will be back!!

Great place to stay. Walking distance to Crystal lake & once a few minute drive to Frankfort. Very peaceful & secluded. Highly recommended

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

This place was absolutely wonderful and immediately felt like home! Itwas great to relax by the firepit, walk the path to the river, and we had a great time exploring the property. This was our second time in the area but our first time at this home. We will definitely be back!

Nice spot. Good location. King sized bed in bedroom. Could’ve slept sideways and still had room for legs. I slept the regular way. Badminton in back yard. Winery in front yard. Sangria with lots of blueberries. Hiked the big sand dune and watched Dazed and Confused on the TV. Ben Affleck is still grumpy after all these years.

This was such an amazing cottage! Everything is so well appointed and it is very comfortable. This cottage has anything you would need. The owner has thought of everything. The bed was very comfortable, wifi worked well, and the clean up instructions were clear and easy. We can't say enough great things about this cottage and host! One of the best vacations we have had. I would love to stay here again! Thank you Carolyn for sharing this amazing place with us!

Beautiful peaceful place , private and easy to find , clean, neat . I loved it only suggestions is bring spray for the nats inside they were annoying it was better sitting outside no bug problems. Lol 😆 🤣

Great little cottage, when the dock gets removed/replaced/repaired,this place will be a fisherman’s dream. Very comfortable, perfect location for our two man fishing trip. Close to boat launch, and easy to get out of town to other spots too. Drive is a little tight to back in with boat, but ally directly across from drive helps a lot. Beautiful views ALL day long! 20th yearly fishing trip to Manistee, and this was my favorite stay, we’ll be back here again if available for our schedule next year.
