The Posh Pony Tipi is one of 7 unique stays here at Fredrock, a private family owned Glampground. The tipi has 2 queen beds and a large deck for star gazing or drinking your morning coffee. You will have your own private bath house and detached outdoor kitchenette, which includes a charcoal BBQ grill. The Posh Pony has a firepit to gather around and for roasting marshmallows. There are trails throughout the property that lead to the beautiful, crystal clear, spring fed water of 12 Mile Creek.

Come enjoy our beautiful 200-acre national park-esque ranch fringed in gorgeous limestone boulders surrounding a spring-fed 15-acre private lake with outdoor living area and sand beach. Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are only 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. We live on-site and will generally be available throughout your stay should you need or desire.

The “Jammer” comes with a queen bed, bathroom with toilet and vanity, a kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, electric burner, sink, and coffee bar. You will also have full use of the luxurious bath house and pavilion. The “Jammer” is one of 9 total rental units on Glamping Retro property, which totals 16 acres. Glamping Retro sits on the TN/NC state line, and backs up to the Pisgah National Forest. The AT is 1.4 miles from us!

Our treetop tipi is a 1 of a kind experience you will not soon forget! Take a short nature walk up to the roughly 400 sf tipi decked out in woodsy cabin decor. With 3 comfy beds don't forget your friends! Relax in one of our cozy covered wagons, located on the banks of the beautiful upper Cape Fear River. We’re on the river AND in-town, so shopping, restaurants, and recreational activities are just moments away. Each wagon has a King bed and 2 bunkbeds, electricity, AC/heat, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Stand-alone bathhouse with toilets, sinks and showers. Community firepit with custom-built stone patio and grilling area are centrally located on the property.
