Sara was an amazing host. Our entire stay she went above and beyond to welcome us, and assure our stay was pleasant. The barn apartment was beautiful. Extremely clean and very homey. We enjoyed the beautiful country scenery and all the local recommendations from restaurants, shopping, and exploring as well as all the amenities the house had to offer. We can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 dogs and everybody had a blast. The barn was very clean, cozy, and welcoming when we arrived. They had an essential oil diffuser on which made it smell lovely. There was a little binder left for us with everything we needed to know and some amazing sight seeing recommendations! The bed was comfortable and cooling/heating system worked great. Their stairs are a little steep and didn’t have runners so just keep that in mind with pets. Overall, this stay is perfect for 2 adults and their fur babies! Will definitely be booking again!

We love staying here and have so many great family memories in this house! It feels like home away from home and we're excited to visit again. The house beautiful and the surroundings are, too.

This place was awesome. We went with two elementary aged kids and they had a blast. It felt like being on a field trip - the rooms are right above a dairy barn. When you step out of your room, the hallway overlooks the cows with panoramic windows. Walk down the stairs, and there are more viewing windows for the actual milking process. Kenny, the owner, was so friendly and explained everything to our very inquisitive children. We even got to feed three baby calves multiple times during our stay.

This is our 3rd year coming to Brenda’s. We always like coming here to connect as a family. Mo and Brenda ate great hosts, always checking with our needs.

My sister and I stayed here with our kids for the Easter weekend so that we would be close to family in Nashville. It was very close to my other;s house in Bellevue, so very convenient. It was very comfortable and we loved saying hello to the horses and mule. Mornings were very peaceful sitting on the patio with coffee and talking to the horses. The host is nearby, but left us alone to do our own thing. We found it to be clean, safe, secure, and comfortable for our group of five. We will definitely keep the barn in mind for further family visits. Thanks you for a great stay!

Highly recommended for families with older children due to stairs and limited outdoor space for small children to run around. Perfect for my teens and I. We loved the sitting area and sleeping arrangements.

Stayed here with a basketball team and everyone kept raving about how great the place was! Plenty of room and overall just a great experience.

The Carriage House is the most peaceful place I have ever stayed in Lancaster County, PA (I have been visiting the area for over 40 years). The photographs of the property are stunning, but do not compare to the serenity we felt while visiting there. Even the decor was tranquil. Many hours were spent on the patio by the fire pit listening to the birds and the occasional Amish buggy going by in the distance. We had a long list of places to visit while in the area, but didn’t want to leave the Carriage House property ! Even though the location is quiet and out in the country, all of the shops and other activities are within a short drive. The Sight and Sound theater is also close by. Kayla is very accommodating, and quick to answer any questions we had. We will definitely return to the Carriage House ~ thank you for offering such a lovely property.

This was our second stay for a staff meeting. Loved coming in the springtime! It’s a beautiful, peaceful space for a retreat. Hosts are kind and very responsive. Spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen, walking in the evening, and slept great! Will visit again.

Thank you to Taylor and her incredible staff! The entire experience was one we will never forget. Taylor ( the owner and horse trainer) was so kind and helpful to us and made us feel right at home. The loft was so beautiful with the sweetest views right out to the pastures and the stables! Everything was spotless and accommodated so well for us! Every detail was intentional and fit in so well! The horses are such beautiful and kind animals, being able to experience them up close and being able to ride one of them was the spotlight of our stay! We met the sweetest barn kitties too! The cleanliness and coziness of the entire ranch was nothing short of amazing. Remember this is a working horse ranch of incredible hard working women. Thank you Taylor and her amazing staff! We will most definitely be back soon and I’m so excited to get more horse riding lessons from her🤍🐎

We are joining the others who say this place is top-notch. We've stayed in many AirBnbs (don't like hotels) and this is at the top of our list. Patty and Brian have put in the extra effort to make it comfortable and a home-like feel. The property is gorgeous, parking easy and the location is so convenient. Everything was great - soft towels (not the sandpaper kind found in most other places), very well furnished, an outside deck that makes you want to sit and enjoy, wonderful bathroom and kitchen - even snacks, water, wine and coffee if you want. Oh, and a comfortable bed in a quiet atmosphere. This place is a gem and the next time we visit our grand kids, we'll be booking this again if available. We give this 10 stars!

This is a little slice of heaven. Mary and Harper sharing a piece of it was such a treat. It was a perfect respite from the norm that we needed. Even our dog noticed how special it was - making new doggie and horse friends. We would absolutely stay here again!

Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

This place was a true gem. Very, very clean and the hot tub was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone as it was one of the very best Airbnbs I have ever been to.

Lovely, cozy and peaceful apt to enjoy farm life from. Grandkids loved the basketball court, fire pit and all the animals. Grandson said pull out sofa bed was extra comfy. We loved feeding, petting the cats, goats & cows. I enjoyed every aspect of this rentals, both inside and out.

I can’t explain how grateful we were to stay at this peaceful and private getaway. We enjoyed everything about the place: beautifully decorated for the e holidays, private nature walk where we saw turkeys and cows from afar & the host even accommodated our special needs. My family and I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I can’t say how grateful we were to find this lovely place & book with such a kind host!

She describes the home as on an active farm and she delivered. We was visiting to see my 10 month old granddaughter and she came to visit and see the horses. It’s an amazing working family farm and absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit and the family is so accommodating. They had a new born foal that was so cute. We hope to visit again in the future.

Wow, I am absolutely blown away! This was such an incredible stay! 🌿🏡 Kevin & Linda are the kindest, most caring, and genuinely loving hosts—you can tell their heart is in everything they do. 💛 The pups were precious, and their sweet old girl, Ruth Ann, even joined us on most of our hikes, which made the experience even more special. 🐾 The home was gorgeous, the bed was super comfy, and the WiFi was fast—but honestly, we LOVED having no service outside the house. It made the trip feel like a true reset from the outside world. And can we talk about that bath?! 😍 Omg, yes please. The hiking trails were incredible, the provided map was crystal clear (with extras just in case), and town was just 35 minutes away—super easy to find based on their directions. To top it all off, they even let us try some fresh farm eggs from their chickens, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’re heading home feeling refreshed, recharged, and overflowing with gratitude. 🥰 Already planning our next

This is such an awesome place, quiet location, peaceful. Very cool interior. Creative and felt right at home. Lots of bird action outside in all different colors. Other animals showed up on the property like wild turkeys, rabbit, deer… 15 min drive to town if needed. Spent our 33rd anniversary here and it was what we needed. Centrally located in the state of KY so it was good drive in different directions each day for bourbon in Bardstown, live bluegrass in Rosine, caves near Cave City and local hiking - so much fun at this great home or outside doing things.

Amy and her husband Weibe were very helpful and friendly. Perfect location for 2 weeeks of cycling in North Carolina. The dogs 🐕, cats 🐈 and horses 🐎 were great and always there to greet us ... of course feeding them helped them warm up to us.

What an awesome place! It’s so peaceful around the barn and the stay is very cozy. Highly recommend.
