Se la dedicamos a Henry David Thoreau (1817- 1862), porque él y sus escritos son quien más nos han inspirado a llevar el estilo de vida que elegimos. Decía Thoreau que quien avanza confiado en la dirección de sus sueños, cruza una frontera invisible. Estamos felices de compartir nuestro lugar en el mundo. ¡Bienvenidos a la Loma de Thoreau!

Escape the Covid craziness and work/ study from the comfort of the large covered balcony! Soak up the sun in the garden and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. Located next to Monte Bonito, a perfect home base to hike the country roads, lounge on the ample balcony and enjoy the fresh air and sounds of nature. The cottage is a 15 minute drive into the mountains of Jarabacoa.

The house offers all the comforts, including a flatscreen TV, a music speaker, and of course excellent Wi-Fi. On the large covered terrace, you’ll find a nice gas grill. There is also a fire pit and a jacuzzi, although the jacuzzi is currently not working and not heated.
