This rental made us feel right at home, especially as a traveling family with a small child. The amenities were just what we needed and then some. The location was perfect for riding e-bikes on the Avenue of the Giants since it’s right at the beginning of the 30 miles stretch. The other rentals on the property are also situated just far enough away that we never heard any of the neighboring renters. The rooms were accommodating and peaceful, and for a week long vacation it was worth every penny. The hosts were also very responsive with our questions and kind and friendly.

The experience staying here was soul-enriching and deeply satisfying for lovers of all things nature and nurture. Luxury tools in the kitchen like cast iron pans and plenty of everything one could need are already there. The beds are like heaven. The decor was unobtrusive and tasteful with an absolutely impeccable aesthetic. Beautiful views and the freshest air possible. A true coastal oasis for a big family gathering.

We had an excellent day. It was comfortable and all the facilities worked perfectly well. A window in one of the bedrooms would not open unfortunately. Otherwise everything was excellent.

This house in Fort Bragg was perfect!! From the well equipped kitchen, to the lovely furnishings, the deluxe showers and the two minute walk to the ocean, you couldn’t ask for more. We appreciated being able to book just one night, although we would have loved to stay longer! Christine knew we had our six year old grandson with us and left a fun little scavenger hunt for him in the house. Be sure to take the very short walk to the ocean, the views are breathtaking. This was a comfortable and perfect place for our quick trip to Fort Bragg!! We recommend the Skunk Train Rail Bike trip while you are visiting, lots of fun for kids (and grown up kids!!!)

Beautiful house. Amazing location. It was so amazing to walk outside to the porch and see and hear the ocean. Hearing the fog horn at night was wonderful. The sea lions in the morning were a great sound to wake up to. Perfect spot near by to see the sunset. This house is perfect for a group or a couples getaway. The neighbors are quiet, even thought their is a home preschool next door….we never heard a peep. Just an overall amazing place to stay. Cant wait to be able to go back.

This is the nicest Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in! The house itself is bright and comfortable, but all the cozy touches—like fresh flowers and eggs, dog treats, slippers, robes, and plenty of blankets—made it special. The garden is delightful and the sauna and outdoor tub were lovely.

Shelter Cove is a hidden gem in California & this house is the BEST way to enjoy it. The house is directly on the ocean! The views from the living room, kitchen & my bed room were absolutely spectacular. The house was so clean. The sofas were super comfortable. The downstairs bathroom has a huge tub & the water gets really hot. Multiple beaches within walking distance & lots of sea lions near the lighthouse! Mario's bar & restaurant is also walkable and we met so many kind locals there who told us a lot about Shelter Cove. We saw deer grazing the grass all over town everyday. There's even a shower in the garage you can use after going to the ocean before entering the house. The host's were so kind to leave us a complimentary bottle of local wine & a nice note for us upon entering the house. We had such a great stay here and will definitely be coming back in the future. We stayed here as a family of four. The property was comfortable and very clean. We appreciated having the twin beds for the kids and also the no-dogs policy (makes a difference if you have allergies to pets). The location was pretty and also convenient, being within easy reach of the grocery store and local restaurant options. We had a great stay and would love to return. Thank you!
