We welcome you to stay at beautiful High Falls Riverfront Retreat only 30 ft from the waters edge. The cabin sleeps 6 w/ 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a large open concept kitchen/living room. It has a cute loft for kids or extra guests. It has a nice sunroom, games & movies. Fully furnished including some necessities you may have left at home. Outside there’s a grill, fire pit & beautiful river frontage w/ kayaks. In winter it’s a Snowmobilers & hikers paradise! Right on the UTV/snowmobile trails!

The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Our Cottage atop of Big Gillette Lake(a quaint no gas motor lake) offers a unique Northwoods experience. Nestled on a dead end road in the middle of the 1.5 million acre Nicolet National Forest, enjoy panoramic views of the lake. Soak in the relaxing hot tub King/Queens chair with a birds eye view of the lake! Winter season is upon us! Watch the snow fall from the hot tub! Then enjoy the fireplace inside. We are on a ATV/Snowmobile route. 1 mile away from being on the trail!!

The Loft Above the Barn, Tamarack Moon,

Our place is a back-to-nature farm setting. . You’ll love our place because of the rustic location, the farm ambiance, and the beautiful outdoors. The Loft is comfortable and has one queen bed, one standard double bed and a couch. There is a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Dogs are welcome with prior approval/notification and there is a $15 dollar cleaning fee. Dogs must be leashed at all times for their safety (See further information under Neighborhood description)

Cozy up in this private, one-bedroom, centrally located, upper apartment. (Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Genuine log cabin with all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway to nature. Privacy, room to roam. Huge firepit area with abundant seating. Good fishing. Spectacular fall foliage. Winter-direct access to snowmobile trails or stay cozy indoors in front of the fireplace. There are a few taxidermy species mounted on walls. Board games. Three TVs. Dish Network and Internet. Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.
