A short drive in either direction sends you to Historic Edenton or sandy beaches of the OBX. The Lake House is perfect for families relaxing or even a business stay. Other events must be preapproved. Traveling to the OBX for vacation? Drive to Elizabeth City, get some much needed rest and only have a 45 minute drive to your vacation!

(don't forget License) I have a strict no pet policy, due to lung issues and Allergies to all animals, plus we live on the premises. Close to where the Pet would be. NO service PETS or emotional support animals.

Walking distance to Historic Hertford, as well as water & boat access in the backyard. Attractions include sports, golfing, fishing, historic sites, bicycling, and small town charm close to nature.

Located in Snug Harbor, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage sits just off of Albemarle Sound on the Yeopim Creek. Just bring your own fishing gear and enjoy your private dock. For those boat captains, there’s a neighborhood boat ramp that is just around the corner so bring the boat. During raining days, enjoy the poker table, darts, and variety of boards/card games. 2 kayaks are available for your use during your stay. It’s perfect for guests looking to unplug, slow down, and enjoy a more natural, secluded stay. Please note that electricity is no longer provided, which allows for a quiet, simple environment away from the usual distractions. Many guests love this as a chance to reset and enjoy the surroundings. If you’re comfortable with an off-grid stay, I’d be happy to host you!

This unique hidden gem has all the features for an amazing getaway. We are an hour/ 20 min drive from the beautiful Outerbanks NC. Enjoy kayaking, fishing and swimming at our shared park on the Albermarle Sound. Swim in our community pool and then end your day at a cozy campfire. Water Winds has Beautiful views of Albemarle Sound. Enjoy birding with Bald head eagles and Osprey, often seen in the cypress trees outside the great room. Paddling in the kayaks and exploring the sound are great ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Bicycles and yoga mats are all available to relax and enjoy some down time here. Smart TV, hi speed wireless internet along with a fun size pool table, foosball, dartboard and ping pong downstairs.

Unplug at the Cotton Patch. A destination where you can unwind amongst multiple structures with great history that were relocated from the "Sandy Point Camp Ground" years back to this quiet 10 acres of open grass pasture. Located conveniently just off Hwy 32 and Hwy 37 near the Albemarle Sound this location is very easy to get to and yet very quiet. Just 6 miles from downtown historic Edenton where you can tour, sip, dine, and shop near the waterfront.
