We really enjoyed staying here! We loved the open space and the comfortable couch and chairs which was great for hanging out and watching movies. There were towels provided for the hot tub and that was very convenient. The hot tub was super clean and in a very private area. We loved having the whole outdoor area to ourselves! The host provided muffins, which was such a nice treat. The kitchen was set up nicely and made it easy to cook several meals there. We loved the log cabin feel! Everything was just lovely for our cousin's weekend, and we would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

The cabin was beautiful- BETTER than the pictures. The host family offers luxury "perks" like wonderful toiletries, pillowtop mattresses and top end pillows, soft blankets rolled up everywhere for guest to use, plush towels, the lights were on when we got there as was the hot tub ready to go. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

We were four families who stayed here for a weekend in April, and the home was perfect for our group. It was spacious enough for all of us to move around comfortably, gather for meals, and spend quality time together. From games and books to spices you might have left behind, the hosts have truly anticipated guests’ needs. The views from this house are absolutely stunning. We saw plenty of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, and eagles, which added to the peaceful, natural setting. The dog run area was another great feature— Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch. One thing to note for those with mobility concerns: the walk from the car to the house is a bit of a trek. The hosts provide carts to help transport your things, but if you’re not able to carry items or have people to help, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, we loved our stay here and we will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Mainstay on the Bluff. Even though the weather was raining and wet, we had a great time cooking meals, playing games, and most of all, sitting in the hot tub! House was VERY spacious and there was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. The privacy and views were incredible and we enjoyed taking a few walks when the weather permitted. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

We needed to move vacation houses due to some crazy weather and flooding in the general area. Barrett's place was exactly what we needed. It had plenty of space to walk the dog near the river, the beds were super comfy, the internet was great, and the host was super responsive to my questions!

Wonderful little cabin with easy access to the main drag of Pepin! Definitely would recommend!

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely incredible place for a peaceful getaway not far from Rochester. The shared bathhouse was very clean and well-stocked and the lighting meant that even at night it was not bad to walk to. Chelsi was very responsive and helpful, we decided to add a night at the last minute because once we arrived we knew we wouldn't be able to leave too quickly and Chelsi was flexible and communicative. We will be back!

Jen and Brett’s place highly exceeded our expectations!!! We came to stay at the cottage as a last minute weekend getaway. The property was spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The hosts were amazing and their dog Fiona adorable. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!

Great hideaway in the woods. Private and quiet. Lots of space and house was stocked with necessities (towels, dishes, bedding, etc.). Dan was very responsive, easy to work with, flexible, and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Monica was a great host! It was very easy to get in touch with her and she was always friendly and accommodating. It was evident that she takes pride in her property. It was cozy and so clean! We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at porcupine cottage! Host was very communicative, place felt like home, beds were very comfortable and plenty of board games to keep busy on a cold winter night. Great first vacation with our two under two!

Fabulous location and made us feel like we were at home. Close to the winery where the wedding we were attending was located. Great space to entertain our friends before the festivities. Everything we needed was provided. Eric and Amanda were quick to communicate with us when we had questions. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great place to stay! Cozy and quiet with an amazing view of the lake off the rear deck and from the ample windows. I went just after Christmas and the lake was frozen over. There were folks ice fishing everyday. The home was so charming. the kitchen was well stocked. the access to the lake was perfect. I could see the value of staying there summer or winter. It's just a few minutes to the grocery, gas, and restaurants. Would stay there again.

Cozy cabin in remote location. This is your small house country living with super friendly and accommodating hosts. Once you give the OK, Ted the dog will be your shadow. Bring some bug spray to walk in the woods or use the disc golf course. The Mondovi area has some of the best people in the world and Maria and her family represent that.
