Lakefront Log Cabin on Pleasant Lake

This was our second stay with Devon and as usual it did not disappoint! It is exactly what we needed for a quiet getaway. It is very serene with sounds of the Loons echoing across the lake. Did not see a car or person in 4 days which was great. Devon was always in touch if needed and accommodating. Great kitchen with everything needed for a snack or a full meal. A very relaxing stay!

Lakeview Cottage

Really enjoyed our stay here. The views were lovely, the lake was refreshing, the beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen stuff, and the showers were hot. The house mostly has what you need. It could use a few more dish towels and bath towels. The long drive to Acadia got tiresome.

Chausey was a great host and was very responsive when I reached out. The place was well kept, very cozy, and matched the list of amenities listed on the AirBNB listing. It truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed the location and how it was tucked away but within driving distance of downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

A peace of wilderness

Frank’s place was exactly what we hoped for- a peaceful retreat that had all the amenities we expected and more. Kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of towels, great fire pit, screened porch, and smart tv. Frank is also very quick to respond to messages and a great overall host. We explored Bangor (about 30 minutes away) and Acadia (about an hour and 30 minutes). The drives anywhere are so beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Frank’s!

The home was just as described, very comfortable and quiet. My friends and I visited Acadia and were able to travel between the park and the home easily. We were able to cook meals at home, made s’mores out back and also canoed and kayaked. Truly had a blast and appreciated the privacy. Thank you!

We could not have picked a better AirBNB to stay at for our honeymoon. The listing and pictures are spot on to what we experienced. The house was clean and very relaxing, and all instructions were very thorough/things were labeled, making it easy to feel at home with no guess work. It was stocked with all the necessities we could have needed. The home is gorgeous, and while it was just two of us I could easily see a bigger crowd being very comfortable. We made sure to make use of the hot tub almost every day and even gave the kayaks a go. Can’t speak for all year round but we went right before the busy season in Maine and the lake was so peaceful and quiet you could hear a pin drop. Jesse and Mya were wonderful hosts; helpful and response both before and during our trip. We’re already talking about coming back for a future anniversary with our kids one day. Thank you for amazing visit to Maine!

The place was cute and welcoming! Just what we were looking for as a base camp for our annual fall ATV trip! Corey and his wife were welcoming and treated us like family from the beginning! Would recommend this place to anyone!

What an absolutely gorgeous cabin and place to stay. Everything you could possibly want out of a cabin stay. Was only here for a few days for work but I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Hope to be back sometime. 5 stars!

great small open concept cabin

Michelle is always quick to respond and very flexible with check in and out times! The cabin is one room style which is all the 3 of us need. Our dog Tucker really appreciates that Michelle allows dogs so please be respectful to her property when your dog is staying in her cabins! We really enjoyed the area and the views and would love to spend more time up in the mt chase area. Thanks again and see you next year!!

We had a great stay at Jessica’s. She was very responsive, and her place was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. It was about 35min to Baxter SP where we were winter camping & hiking. We really enjoyed our stay. We love Maine!
