We love this place and have stayed here twice! It’s your classic, pretty log cabin with everything you could need or want, including a hot tub and a fire pit! It’s set in the woods but also only 15 minutes from a gas station/mart for last minute supplies. We enjoyed our time!

Super cozy, spacious, relaxing and secluded stay at the cottage! We enjoyed our time and hope to return! Love the hot tub, bed was comfy, and complimentary wine. The Flyin Lion was a great place to eat in town.

I went for a weekend getaway, and this place did not disappoint. It's a beautiful, private spot—nice and cozy, with stunning views all around. The host provided clear directions before arrival, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The house rules were straightforward and reasonable, and communication from the host was outstanding—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely caring. It was clear that a lot of time and attention went into every detail of the space, which made our stay even more special. We had a wonderful time, and I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others. Looking forward to coming back!

Hosts were very responsive and accommodating Hilltop scenery was relaxing and beautiful The hot tub which is wood burning does take a lil bit to heat up which they told us so just start putting wood in as soon as you get there There was a big bear who popped up to go through the garbage at night but thats part of the nature experience lol

The place was secluded. the hot tub was perfect. The basement was real chill to hang out on a snowy icy evening

Naomi is a wonderful and responsive host! The cabin was beautiful with great amenities. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit. The laundry room was an added bonus so we didn’t have too many chores to catch up on after our relaxing weekend. Naomi also sells handmade soaps which smelled amazing and were a great price, perfect gifts! Thank you for a great stay, Naomi!

We had a great stay here! The setup is perfect for any gathering and the decks provide excellent space to hangout and enjoy the fresh air. Sue was very responsive and accommodating for all of our needs. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to be back soon.

took our 3 dogs over the weekend if you stay in the winter be prepared to chop some some wood and light the fire place there is a park within 5 mins drive from the place while you can walk there, it would be the only easy place to get to be foot the nearest grocery store 20 mins drive in Sommerset so plan ahead

Had a wonderful stay at Creekside Cabin. Cozy and comfortable. The location is super quiet and secluded. Great place to get away from it all. We really enjoyed our stay at Jonathan’s property. It is such a cute little town with so many hidden gems. We appreciated all the recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The diner was our favorite. Overall, very peaceful and enjoyable stay. We also appreciate how responsive Jonathan was. Thank you Jonathan!

The perfect place for a single father to take his two little girls. The cabin is very unique with amazing views. A well stocked kitchen and plenty of firewood to burn at the fire pit. Really awesome hiking trails. The pond was our main area of interest as we caught and released frogs, toads and salamanders. We also enjoyed canoeing around the pond. I couldn’t have asked for a more well rounded environment to truly introduce my girls to the outdoors while still having access to the modern day commodities. A home run if you truly want to introduce the family to the outdoors but not feel stranded. The Host was super welcoming and polite while being very proactive when coming to any type of communication. I couldn’t say thank you enough for providing such a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable which is a top priority for me. If you cook, the kitchen is well equipped. I would stay here again if back in the areal.

Don't think, just book it! Nitin's cabin is so close to Cherry Springs State Park so if you're stargazing you're in for a real treat! It is very spacious, and had anything and everything you could ever want to be comfortable! Our whole family loved staying there. The beds were all so comfortable, the blankets soft, and there are lots of extra little touches to upgrade the place like lots of spices, crockpot and other appliances, good shampoo and soaps, along with games and books. The yard and outdoor furniture is very private and had it not been raining, I know we would have had the opportunity to enjoy it! We look forward to coming back!

This was an especially great place for a family or group getaway. Everything was fully stocked from linens and towels to kitchen necessities. The most fun was the open space on the top floor with kitchen, dining, living and game room all in one big area. We were able to be together the whole time. The weather was cold and rainy so we just stayed inside and had a wonderful time playing ping-pong, pool and lots of board games while simultaneously cooking and making snacks! We had a blast and I hope we can do it again. Thank you Dan and Nicole!

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

What a fantastic stay! The views are incredible with more than enough space for the kids to run around the property. Robin was very responsive in answering any questions we had and heading into town is a beautiful drive.

Cabin was very comfortable, clean, and easy to access. Had a Great weekend getaway and will definitely be booking again!

My partner and I stayed at the cabin to get some hiking and stargazing in during the lyrids meteor shower. The cabin address was incorrect, it is 265 on the opposite side of the road from 264, so it was a little hard to find at first since it's not clearly visible from the road. It was a wonderful spot to get away from the city - private and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a charcoal grill with charcoal and lighter fluid provided. If you plan on campfires make sure to bring firewood. The cabin is in a great area to get to cherry springs park, and not too far from the pa canyon and some other great hikes and views. Galeton is a small, friendly town where we enjoyed seeing water foul and trout and enjoyed breakfast at the local diner. 10/10 stay over all. I hope to come back next year.

A beautiful lakefront cabin tucked away from it all offered a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Would totally visit again. Plenty of firewood was a great perk. Loved it!

Perfect cabin in the woods to go and connect with your person/people and nature! LOVED the indoor wood burning fireplace! Awesome being able to take a morning and/or afternoon walkabout straight from the property and be in the woods. Nice stone ringed fire pit for outdoor chilling in the evening. Grill has seen better days so we cooked in the pit on an open fire...better that way anyways! Loved the spring fed water system!
