From Llangynidr you have the canal which offers an easy walk either way and Tor y foel mountain.

Set in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this canal side spacious property (with en-suite) is set back from the road and offers tranquility. A great range of walks including Pen y Fan can be started from the front door. The traditional local pub (CAMRA award winner) is less than 150 metres away and serves a great variety of dishes. Old Byre Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Byre dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of historically listed farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. The barn is set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal, between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The spacious barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & benefits from underfloor heating.

The Bwthyn - a riverside rural retreat

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. Bumble Bee Cottage

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

Ideal for romantic getaways or a break in the National Park……Set on the edge of the canal, it looks over a traditional canal boat marina. Easy for walks, bike rides and paddling adventures. Village pub near by which can also be walked to along the magical mon and brec canal. WiFi and TV. Not suitable for dogs, babies or young children.

The kitchen is the pride of the cottage & is super well-equipped. Sumptuous linens, pretty curtains & lovely bedroom window views await you upstairs. A very comfortable king-size bedroom with an elegant bathroom next door. There is also a cute upstairs extra sitting room to relax in with more beautiful views.
