The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

We're a cosy bolthole, perfect for unwinding in this home from home.

The bathroom has an amazing cylindrical shower with glass roof for star gazing and a true outdoor feel. There is a fully functional kitchen, wood burner, and double bed. A perfect retreat for couples or a family of up to 6 for fun or romantic breaks. 2 dogs welcome. Most of our land is now fenced off so your dog can roam reasonably safely in 5 acres.

The cabin itself has an open plan kitchen - dinning and living room with a wood log burner. There is a separate bedroom which is light and airy. The beautiful village of Llanberis is a 10 min walk away with pubs, shops and restaurants. There is private off road parking and an outside area with garden furniture

My place is within easy access of Snowdon, Zip world, A55, Anglesey. You’ll love my place because its a traditional grade 2 listed welsh cottage fully refurbished and set in a small hamlet within the countryside. My place is good for couples, walkers, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. PLEASE NOTE: This is a small village located a couple of miles from the main A55 road there are no shops in the village itself. Tesco is a 5 min drive away

The Caban is only a stone's throw away from the famous Slate Trail and Penrhyn Castle, steeped in its links to the Bethesda mining history can be seen clearly from the decking area. Attractions close by includes Zip World and Snowdonia Mountain walks.

With so much to explore from our doorstep such as ancient castles, majestic mountains and lakes, steam railways, Portmeirion and Zip-world; it’s no wonder guests never want to leave!
