Vista Verde was a delightful place to call home base for our week of exploring the Upstate. We are a food allergy family and found her kitchen to be so easy to cook in. We also were blown away by the generous amenities (hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, soap and lotion!) We loved working our dog on the path and enjoyed family swim! Tarah was a responsive host!

The house is great, the location and view are perfect, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot of great amenities, perfect for a family. Boat rental was super easy, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards. Our young children loved the beach area, and the adults enjoyed the Hottub. The lake, of course, is beautiful, and the fishing good as well. We’ll definitely return.

Linda is a wonderful host and this home is absolutely beautiful! As attractive as the photos are we were even more impressed upon entry. This place is updated everywhere with quality and taste and it is very spacious. So many great spots to sit and enjoy a coffee a book plus a great walking trail around the lake. Only wish our stay was longer so we will be back for a week next time!

Scott was responsive to all requests/concerns we had during our stay. The amenities are A+ and the cabin is very spacious with multiple areas to congregate or separate! With the exception of hiking Station Cove Falls trail, attending a Christmas Eve service, and fishing at a childhood fishing spot, we found that the amenities of this cabin were very sufficient for the 5 days we were there. An important detail to note on this review is that the bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The other 3 bedrooms are up a very steep flight of stairs. The room with the king-sized bed does not have a single bed, as indicated on the site. For my family of 6 adults, we found that this cabin sleeps only 5 comfortably. There are 2 cots, one on the upper level and one on the basement level along with a futon-style sofa. Scott has put a lot of thought into making this property a vacation home waiting to make special memories for families who stay here!

We had a great time here. The location was perfect, very walkable to downtown. The loft was extremely clean and had everything we needed.

Christy’s home was perfect for our first Christmas away from home. The view of the lake was beautiful to wake up to every morning and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the door. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. She even left a S’mores kit - which we made good use of with the fire pit! Would love to come back here in the summer to make use of the lake and the kayaks!

We had a great stay. Lots of beautiful waterfalls in the area. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Keowee. The house was very well equipped. We cooked most of our meals and we found everything we needed and more. The view of the lake from the upper deck was beautiful and we enjoyed going out in the canoe. We would not hesitate to book again in the future. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Pristine and well-stocked kitchen. Lots of thought and preparation obviously went into stocking everything we needed during our stay. We found it organized and set up for whatever we wanted to prepare in this beautiful galley-style cooking space. Glasses, cups, silverware, pots and pans - it’s ALL there. The deck is new and well-furnished. We had a relaxing lunch while listening to music on the Bluetooth speaker (provided).

Beautiful lake home. Just as advertised. We really enjoyed staying there for our family vacation. Joanne was a great host always responsive and quickly got back to us with anything we needed.
