The Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Smith Mountain Lake, James River, and Carvin Cove reservoir are also close. The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Bear Claw Cove II We are located in Rocky Ridge camp ground . ( This cabin does have neighbors) directly across the road from Pipestem State Park . Where you can enjoy Ziplining,hiking, Horse Back riding, and more. Two Bicycles can be found in the shed to take a ride to the park along with two kayaks (take them to spend the day at bluestone lake only a 13 minute drive) .Winterplace is only 30 miles away. Community pool-seasonal . Pet friendly-with pet fee. Come stay in a log cabin!

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.
