We are dog friendly. The house is set up for folk who love the outdoors with plenty of secure storage and drying facilities! A family home when not rented.

We are ideally situated for mountain biking at the 7Stanes mountain biking centres at Innerleithen and Glentress .We offer secure bike storage and bike washing facilities. Morningside has a patio and use of a shared garden.

Built in the 1700s the Gardener's House is set into the old Walled Garden in the stunning grounds of Arniston House, a William Adam Stately Home. A secluded, picturesque two storey house with wood burning stove for winter or glass patio doors that open onto the walled garden for summer. Curlew Cottage and Free Shepherd's Hut

Curlew Cottage, Meadshaw Farm is remote and peaceful, with stunning views of the rolling hills. It is 9 miles from the Scottish Borders town of Hawick. 1 well behaved dog is welcome. Relax in the cosy cottage, or spend an evening in front of the fire in the lovely, old shepherd's hut. Great local walks, cycle routes, dark skies and peace and quiet await you. The Roman & Reivers Route, a long distance trail, runs past the cottage to the tiny hamlet of Craik and beyond.

The Historic Dalkeith Water Tower

The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

The Wee Trail House is next-door to the main Trail House and was recently renovated to a high standard. The decor is warm, clean and relaxing throughout. A new kitchen was installed as well as a fresh modern bathroom. There are two bedrooms with king size zip and link beds which can be set up as double or twin rooms. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space is very sociable and the coffee table easily converts into a small or large dining table.
