'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Two horse stalls, open turnout and one full RV hookup for lease. No events, parties or hosting gatherings.

BY THE GRACE OF GOD (& maybe a bit of my sheer grit) this little lady is standing post 2024 arson fires/floods…She is still & will continue to be a pristine cozy cottage on the Rio Ruidoso that offers an historic Upper Canyon stay. To be clear the neighborhood does show remnants of its former self but in no time will be stunning again…Further I want to thank all my former & recent guests for the outpouring of love & support through this most surreal time…awesomely good people in this world!

The open plan single bedroom upstairs sleeps 4 between a Queen and 2 Twin Beds. Outdoor amenities include a private stainless steel hot tub, a expansive deck and 2 outdoor fireplaces. Lounge on the large deck while making dinner on the brand new gas Grill. Stargaze like never before!

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

Enjoy this adorable casita right on the Pecos River! This is an excellent location to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe National Park and other nearby attractions. Sip your morning coffee on the dock, or unwind in the evening and take in the view. **The Pecos River will be drained from Jan 7-May 31 for dock maintenance and river cleaning. If this is an issue, please do not book!**
