Pecos: soggiorni in baite

The cabin was clean and comfortable and just perfect for our weekend getaway. The owners were super-responsive and had great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We loved that there were beautiful hikes just minutes away, and we also enjoyed Jemez Hot Springs, Bandelier National Monument, and the scenic drives to both places. Definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Our weekend was filled with wedding festivities as we celebrated our oldest marrying at the beautiful Nature’s Point venue. The Airbnb home we stayed in was perfectly located between our rehearsal dinner and the wedding site, making everything so convenient. From start to finish, the entire experience was wonderful. The home itself was amazing — offering relaxing time in the hot tub and plenty of family fun in the game room. It was fully stocked with everything you could need while away from home, spacious enough for everyone to spread out, and ideal for reconnecting with family. It made for the perfect sibling reunion and an unforgettable celebration. Truly the best Airbnb in New Mexico to enjoy such a special occasion

We loved our stay amidst the quiet of the pines! We chose to do a screen detox by watching zero TV and staying off our phones - the kitchen was spacious for slowing down and baking something special, the couch was comfy for reading books, and soaking in the hot tub while some light snow fell was magical. Tending the wood stove for heat was my husband's favorite thing! The memory foam bed was a bit firm for us and we would have liked some light blocking curtains for sleeping in. Overall the cabin was lovely and thoughtfully put together, and we would stay again.

Great modern cabin. Tranquil place to hang out. Go for a hike up the road or just lounge on the deck(s) and chill to the sounds of the forest and trickling creek. 20 minutes to town and all it has to offer.

Wonderful cabin get away. It was nice to unplug for a little bit. Keep that in mind, you will unplug. That said Marc does offer wifi which helps with the lack of phone signal. This is by no means a negative aspect, just something to be aware of.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and view! It snowed over a foot on our last night and it was breathtaking. Brad was a great host and very responsive. He also gave us very thorough instructions on how to use everything in the cabin along with things to do and eat out at in the area. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with everything you could need for the stay. Super cozy living room along with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hot tub was perfect for the cold nights and there were robes available. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax outside of the city even with the kids. Easy 20 minute drive to Albuquerque with tons to do. Recommend taking the 30 minute drive up to Sandia Peak. We will come back when visiting family again. Thanks again Brad for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The hosts were very friendly to work with and thought of everything in how they set the cabin up. We travel with our two dogs so appreciated the dog dishes and dog bed supplied. The outside area was perfect and so relaxing! We would love to stay here again!

The Pine Shack was close to fishing, clean, and accommodated 4 adults comfortably. The location is absolutely beautiful. Our host was readily available and easy to communicate with. Check in and check out was very easy. My family and I enjoyed our time here very much!

We love staying here. This is the third time we have stayed here. We have been going to celebrate our anniversary. This year was our 16th. It was so peaceful and beautiful.

Marc and Suzanne were excellent hosts, we felt safe and right at home. The home is beautiful and well appointed. We had all the items needed for making home cooked meals and delicious coffee. The home had an electric kettle and french press (appreciate the thoughtful process in slowing down and making coffee) which I loved, paired well with great coffee and a gorgeous view of the Pecos River in the mornings. The bathroom had comfy robes provided as well as a hot shower with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (bonus). I felt like we were in a quaint eclectic hotel. I am an avid fly fisher woman and got to fly fish on the property. Unfortunately due to the early snow melt, the Pecos river was running above normal, CSF > 200 so fishing was difficult on the Pecos river, however the property was close enough for us to go into the Pecos National Park and find the pocket water and we were able to catch wild browns and rainbows! It was very easy going and peaceful. The place was great and very comfortable on top of being gorgeous. We didn't lack anything while there and was able to experience what we wanted to in Jemez. The host are very kind and friendly and their two farrets were so adorable. A nice time all around.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. This is such a great part of New Mexico and it was amazing to have access to all the trails and activities nearby with the amenities of this cabin to return to each day. Angela and Mark were great hosts and made us feel so welcome. We highly recommend staying here and are looking forward to our next visit.

We loved this special place. Artistically designed. Clean and quiet. Huge bathroom area. Beautiful views. We appreciated the warm welcome and fresh sourdough bread.

Nice spot on a beautiful mountain. Great view of Hermit’s Peak! Enjoyed seeing deer on the way up the mountain each drive up. The neighbors have a few dogs that all were sooo friendly and happy to see us each day. Great place to disconnect. Very nice Hot Springs at the base of the mountain with a river flowing beside it.

Ben and Lauren were very gracious hosts, always responsive to our communications (via the airbnb website). The setting was very peaceful, and the flat, though cozy, was bigger than typical hotel rooms and offered numerous additional amenities such as a small kitchen and farm-fresh gifts of cherry tomatoes, eggs, granola, and assorted goat cheeses. This was an enjoyable getaway from downtown Albuquerque. One could not ask for better hosts, and their other airbnb reviews are fully justified.

Such a beautiful peaceful getaway! We enjoyed our week away in such a lovely home with Santa Fe art and decor.

Our stay at El Rito cabins was ideal. We both felt instantly relaxed and happy- we actually both kept saying “ I feel so happy right now”. The area is breath taking, and the property has a special feel. Private and communal at the same time. We’ll absolutely be returning! Lacy and Kat put the Super in super host!!

This was the first of many visits we hope to make to El Rito Cabins. Next time we plan on bringing our whole family. This place is truly a gem! We hiked, fished, took a stroll through the beautiful meadow, sat and enjoyed breakfast at the table under the tree as recommended by our host and had an amazing experience. The scenery here is truly unmatched, and I was able to capture some of the most beautiful shots. From pictures of the burn area and the amazing foliage taking it's place, to the streams and the wildlife, there isn't a bad shot on the entire mountain! The hosts are wonderful people who have a true love of the property, and it shows. From the super clear instructions, to every last detail of our cabin spotless and cozy, they literally thought of EVERYTHING. They answered every message within minutes and were so helpful. The only bad part of our trip was that it ended. In my opinion, if you are planning to stay here, try to stay a min of 3 days, Trust Me, you'll want the time!

Calmness came over me as we drove up the mountain. This place is so very relaxing. Sitting and listening to the stream and walking through the ponderosa pines is exactly what we needed. We rented three of the cabins for family, Henry, Martin & Pavilion. All were comfortable. It was an amazing get-away, but the WiFi was fine for those that needed it. Grilling, sitting on the porch listening to nature, chatting by the fire, wadding in the stream and climbing the mountains all created fantastic memories! Thank you Lacey and Kat for continuing to rent these cabins that I have visited many times in 50+ years! So very thankful you did not have damage from the 2022 wildfires in the area. Can’t wait to get back!
