Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.
